I is literally impossible for me to understate how obsessed I was with that movie when I was little.

Don, PLEASE make an 80s style into or at least a scene in the next Kickstart!

Everytime I watched that movie I would run outside and jump on my bicycle and try to do some of those moves. Needless to say, I would bunny-hop about 4 times and then go back inside. I think I'll stick to motorcycles.

Love that movie tho, just ordered Rad and Winners Take All on dvd.

when i was 12 we set up some mattresses on the back side of a jump so we could practice 360's and backflips... i've never wrecked a bicycle harder in my life... i got pretty decent at one time with flatland riding but never had pegs, had to learn on my tires. fun stuff. i've thought about getting back into the flatland riding

It's so funny how far flatland and bmx in general has come. I used to compete in flatland back in the late 80's and early 90's and am still pretty good at all the old dumb stuff. These guys riding now make me look like I cant even ride a bike.. lol

I also wore out my RAD VHS. I watched that movie no less than 500 times (as with Dirt Bike Kid, Days of Thunder, and Gleaming the Cube). Now that I think about it, it is possible that my mother sabotaged the tape. I think after the 20th time seeing the movie she began contemplating suicide (or how to make my death look like a suicide)...

I cannot stress how much that movie was watched. I'm watching it tonight for sure. I mean come on it's got Bart Conner, the girl from Full House and Adrianna from Rocky.

Is Dirt Bike kid the one with the YZ80 that talks to him? If so I LOVED that movie but I couldn't remember what it was called!!

I remember the first time I saw flatland riders in person was at Disney. Holy crap! Nothing else the rest of the trip even came close.

bonus points to the first person that can tell me Cru's real first name in the movie... it's only mentioned once throughout the flick.

BEST. MOVIE. SCENE. EVER.

Every school dance made me want to take my bike. If I had been any good I probably would have.

BTW, anyone else think the Hell Track looks really tame now?
