I've been looking around on mx sports with no luck.
Looks like post entry is still open though.

Does that mean JLaw can still sign up? Any word on his status?

It seems like RacerX posts pre-entry lists like the Wednesday before the race.

Was there a point to that verbal vomit??

RacerX posts the pre-entries as they are given access.

If All-Jaw shows up to register on raceday, would that be the fault of anyone at RacerX?

Even if he does eventually show, chances of him actually "competing" are pretty poor based on his recent performances.

They are telling us it will be out shortly gang (and I don't think you're going to see J-Law on it).

Noticed a name that was left off the list:

Darrin Driscoll

Wasn't he the guy that got 12th at the 1989 Dodge Truck Trans-Cal

Thought for sure he would be there.

Jay, I don't think there is a difference between the 250 and 450 classes as far as outdoor motocross goes -- they are both championship classes. In SX, it's different, but I think MX rates them the same. And yes, you can ride a national in the 450 class without previous national points.

Yes , it is. The way acceptance works is -----. Entries will be accepted in the following order until the class is full:
i. Riders finishing the 2009 Motocross season in the top 45 of
either the 450 or 250 Championship.
ii. Riders finishing the 2010 Supercross season in the top 30
of either the Supercross or Supercross Lites (East or West)
Championship.
iii. Riders earning any points during the 2009 Motocross season
in either the 450 or 250 class.
iv. Riders earning championship points in the current year
in either the 450 or 250 Motocross Class, so long as the
registration deadline for the event is met.
v. Former National Motocross, Supercross or FIM World
Motocross Champions in the past 10 years.
vi. Foreign riders earning at least one point in an FIM-affiliated
professional motocross series in the current or previous year.
vii. Riders finishing in the Top 5 in the 450 A/Pro Sport or 250
A/Pro Sport class at the AMA Amateur National Motocross
Championship in the current year.
viii. For all other riders, the date on which the entry is received
(via fax, email, mail or online) will determine the order of
acceptance.
Also, not listed but widely known , is that if a rider pre-enters and pays in full for the entire 12 race series, he is automatically accepted

If they didn;t allow it we would never have a full gate... Not to mention that, that's what is so great about Motocross any professional can qualify for the race.

Okay, I wasn't sure if it was the same for SX and MX . With 40 spots on the gate I think it does help for Privateers to compete on 450's vs the ultra expensive and competitive 250F's

350's will totally screw any Privateer if that ever happens with all the MFG's

Exactly right Jay, thats why Davey should convince the "rules makers" to allow the Lites class riders run 250 2strokes ,just like in amateur competition. Wink
