I heard the same thing. Wasn't it in during a Pulpmx podcast or on the Pulpmx Show with Kenny Watson and the other guy? I did a double take when I heard it. I'm skeptical but hey, Ping knows who owes who money in the moto industry so he probably knows what the factories have up their sleeves....Wink

BTW: does Yoshimura make 2 stroke pipes?

I sure hope they do! I'm keeping both mine for life and will continue to buy more they are almost like cheating they are such good bikes

yea during a pulpcast...been trying to find out, no ansswers though!!

nope, yoshi is a 4-stroke company..they are/were big in the superbike world

Chromoly frame is one of the features that makes the RM250 so great. Bike just needs a few engine, cosmetics, swingarm and suspension upgrades and it will sell.

I agree, stay with a steel frame...it is cheaper and easier to build and will keep the cost down... Oh, crap, I just woke up and was having a dream....

i was under the impression that they are still being produced in Europe, it's just america that was discontinued

yup stopped importing them

the rm was a really great bike..i loved both of mine (03 rm125 and 04 rm250)

What would make this a better bike isn't an AL frame but please god, get rid of the half-tank shrouds. Put the shrouds over the entire side of the tank so the bike can be made to look good with a simple plastic swap.
