Strait forward and accurate assessment I'd say. The am track does get prepped consistently on weekends from what I've seen the past few months. I wish I could do motos on the main but it gets so gnarly I can only work sections

Very good write up. Thanks Sleet!

Cool write up. You make the main track too easy. "Old Ass" doesn't mean slow ass!

That huge double after the switch backs is simply retarded and they should remove it.

You forgot to mention the cat shit. You have to watch out for it in the mornings when it is prepped out there. You'll know it when you see it.

As a slow guy I spend most of my time on the vet track and really enjoy the amateur track too. It's a fun place

Palas main is the only track that still gives me butterflies.

I've been avoiding Pala due to that jump basically, I don't wanna go back out there and end up rolling that jump every lap pinch

Yesterday was my 2nd day there this week. I had only rode the vet track last Tuesday, trying to get my form back. Yesterday, i moved over to th Am track and had a blast! The hills were so nice to have in play and the prep was pretty good. Just watch for the occasional floating rock, one tried to get me right at the end of the day. Photo

Awesome write up, mostly accurate in my opinion. I ride out there at least once a week. The ve track is really fun for a "vet" track. I wish they would rebuild the AM track. Or just build one good all around track like they had back in the day instead of a janky AM track and a ridiculous main track. Although right now both can be super fun depending on the day. Thank baby Jesus they reopened. Tomorrow sounds like a good day to ride it.
I am looking forward to more track reviews, and maybe it will give the local tracks some things to think about.

Man Pala has changed A LOT since I moved away in 2011. Looks like fun, wish we had something like that where I live now.

Good write up. I went on Saturday and it was much improved over the last time I was there. The jumps on the Vet and AM were all pretty easy and had some room for forgiveness. I didn't make it out to the main but, it looked more tame than in the past.

Nice work! And riding. I was east coast, now Texas and man it looks dry as hell out in CA. Pala looks fun, only ridden GH on a roached rental. Like to hit some more Cali tracks.
