Isn't there a new rule where the teams can run large sponsorship signage on the side plates of there bikes, if so is there any pictures of what the teams are going to run as of yet i have seen nuting!

Peick was out at Pala last weekend and I saw his sideplates.. numbers are tiny! but it looks great if you are that sponsor that gets your whole name and logo now instead of a spot on the rear fender..

I also seen a local guy last weekend that runs a handfull of nationals and his were the bare 3" min. You could not really see them at all.

That rider will have a hard time being scored at a local race, without transponders. Damn quads and their hard-to-read numbers are bad enough. Add a spot of mud and no way! Whistling

In a mudder it would be a problem, but during a normal race day I doubt anyone will say anything to him about his sidepanels.

with transponders getting a lot more reliable, the side numbers are less of an issue at the pro level.

where can i get 3" numbers?? i dont really like them on big bikes but i just bought new graphics for my boy's pw50 and dont want to cut up mail box numbers for them. the 3" should be easier to find now that they will be the new standard.
