My son and newphew have the EVS and we really like them. I also have a couple friends that love their Leatt.
Both are good products.

I have the EVS, I don't know about liking it, But it serves it's purpose. Beats a broken Neck! Not to Mention I got it for $100.00 Brand new.

I have the EVS. I like it and have not had any problems with it. It fits with my MSR Chest protector just fine.

Does the EVS make your chest protector ride high.. it seems it would?

I have the Thor Sentinel Chest Protector, it rides about an 1' maybe alittle less high, but it's not bad.

I have a Leatt and I think it's great. I can fit it easily into my Thor Sentinel cp, but I wear it over my jersey with the straps, (and the cp under the jersey). Feels more comfortable for me and not as hot.

I don't know about the EVS as I haven't seen anyone with one here in Norway, just lots of Leatts and some Alpinestars.

Bring your helmet to a dealer and try them both on while sitting on a bike. You may look a little dumb doing it, but it's better than buying one and finding out at the track you can't ride with it on.

Just make sure you try both on WITH A HELMET, I have the EVS I bought the other day, and after getting it adn trying it with a helmet on, it dont fit right, I have a short neck so it rubs real bad. I made some foam modifications and now it is good.

before I changed the foam a little I was going to sell it
