People forget how awesome Short was in 2010. Got almost every holeshot and was by far the second best guy. Now that he is back on the 450 Honda, I expect him to pick up right where he left off. Weimer also did really well at the end of outdoors last year. It'll be interesting to see how much he improves this year. Both of those guys will be better than most, if not all, MX3 riders.

I would consider Osborne and put Barcia and Dungey on the big bikes.

I heard that they are going to give the MX2 riders a 1 lap head start then let Hearling go.

TDeath 21,

Rather than day dream about Short being in MXON

Spend some time and rewrite your Signiture.

He's been erratic this year. If Baggett and Tomac ride the outdoors the same as they did last year, Baggett may be a better choice given how ridiculous his speed was at times and Tomac being off par for most of the summer. Now, however, Tomac looks the stronger of the two, but it's a long way out. If Barcia is the 250f option rather than big bikes, he may be the better option than either Tomac or Baggett given his prowess in the sand.

Shoot, maybe Durham about to lay waste to the outdoor field.

I'm with the Dungey, Barcia & Tomac plan. Baggett and Weimer have looked good as well, at times. Will wait to see a couple outdoor events though.

I think everbody underestimates team ...

With Desalle, De Dycker and Roelants on their home turf. They all grew up in the sand (except for Desalle but he can ride in sand anyway)

No one underestimates them, but the questions was who will take RV's spot, not who will win the des Nations!

The thread title said MXdN 2012, so I fired in!

And it's too early to make a decision about the team, first the outdoors! I think Dungey - Barcia - Tomac

We will need to see how the Nationals and the Grand Prixs are developing. If Zach Osborne rides like he did in the West Coast series and after his come back in Mexico or Brazil he can mix it up with Searle, Herlings and Roelants he would be a good choice for the MX2/250 bike... On the other hand you guys have Justin Barcia, Eli Tomac, Blake Baggett, Jason Anderson, ... as MX2/250 in the AMA Nationals if those guys are riding good and fast and they can mix it up with Roczen in Southwick then they would be a good choice either! But we can't forget that Barcia fucked his 250 outdoor season up last year and that Baggett was a bit inconsistent last year and that he chocked in France...

In the 450 class you guys haven't that much options. Ryan Dungey is if he's healthy a certainty and so was James Stewart but that last name doesn't deliver any good results anymore. But if JS7 starts the outdoors on a different brand and with new confidences he could win all the races and he can dominate in Lommel! Otherwise you can pick Justin Barcia or Eli Tomac both are strong enough to ride a 450 true that rough sand track in Belgium. Other options are Mike Alessi; that guy has never been so fast in SX so what will that be in outdoors? Justin Brayton, Jake Weimer, Andrew Short Davi Millsaps are some other options but than you aren't speaking of top riders anymore.

Bye the way: America has three weeks after there last national to prepare for the MXDN in Lommel. DeCoster is smart enough to come a bit sooner to Europe and let his guys train in Belgian, Dutch and North French sand!

Holland is mine favorite together with the United States...

Holland
MX1: Marc De Reuver
MX2: Jeffrey Herlings/Glenn Coldenhoff (If healthy)
MXO:Jeffrey Herlings/Ceriel Klein Kromhof (Saw that guy ride a ADAC last year against Bobryshev on the sand and he owned that guy EASY!! But he has so many injuries!)

Germany has only Roczen because Nagl isn't back yet and if he makes his return will he be on level terms with AC222, CP377, CD25, GP21, ...
