According to Team Germanys statement Roczen decided not to go because of his health issues. His body needs a rest to recover.

When did Tomac say he didn't want to go. Last I heard him say in an interview was that he wanted a bit of revenge for last year.

Kawasaki wouldn’t dare risk losing Tomac. If Tomac wanted to go, he would be there and Kawasaki would be supporting him. This is a sport with very few stars like him and he has a lot of say in what goes on.

If I'm a betting man Tomac didn't want to go. Do I blame him? As a hunter, no.

Would I prefer to see him race? Yes. Would I try to race if I was in his shoes? I think so, BUT and here is the kicker, no one knows what Eli goes through day to day, obligations, training, travel. The MXoN is during the offseason, and there is no money at stake, so I can't completely blame him.
