Okay, so few know we picked up the KX500AF...
The wonderful AJ Waggoner, has allowed Chuck Sun, to race the mighty Kawasaki, at he 2-Stroke invitational.
Here is the progress up to date.
MXA, complained of the front end pushing from the center of corners, out.
The 22mm Off-Set clamps minimized, but didn't cure.
Added a GPR Stabilizer, and had Dick Wilk, "Dick's racing Suspension" re-work the forks.
The difference was amazing. It corners like a trick 125 !
The KX500 engine offers little engine low end. So I made a call to Moto Tassinari, and requested a V-Force stage 3 reed kit. Little D, suggested removing four inches off the FMF silencer. The two together made it bark perfectly, we now had to gear it up.
A No Toil, Air Filter, New Acerbis Plastic, and the thing rips, handles, and is smooth.
Chuck Sun, has been testing and his compared lap times are lower than on his massaged KTM, he has been riding for a year.
Chuck, is ecstatic...and feels he is a contender...wouldn't be cool to see a 52 year old man, win the race.
Anyway...He did race the Over The Hill Gang, 45+ Pro, and won.
Here's a couple pics...one with the (proposed) AMR graphics...The Graphics will change these were for impact, and will of course have Service Kawasaki, as well as other sponsors, on board.

BTW, will you be at REM this weekend? I've recovered from my Husaberg digger (one cracked rib and a bunch of sore ones) and will at least ride practice.
Yeah the last I saw you, you were still in shock.
I wont be at Glen Helen. I will be at the Speedway Spring Classic, in Costa Mesa. I have several people gathering to have a little fun.
Chuck, is thinking of driving over to race REM.
I will be at Glen Helen, the following Friday, thru Sunday, (No racing, track closed for National preparation) then back again on Wednesday thru the National week end.
And the OTHG National at Hangtown was not the first time he rode with us, he raced the OTHG Mammoth MX around 10 years ago and was flying.
I guess they don't give out those AMA 500cc National and Motocross des Nations titles to just anyone.

if he was seriously interested some local guy with an AF would likely be up for letting him race it! or we could possibly arrange my own race scoot to be there....
i've sent you a couple emails man!
let me know if you got that rad valve..
Got a Crate, I have to modify it, but I'll be packin' it this week end.
I will get one for the 2-Stroke invitational
I know the gate is full...I will post as soon as I get something. I will press on today, and try to pry it out of her.
Thanks.
I met a couple of the Service Honda crew at Motoland last weekend. Great guys and everyone was willing and trying to put me on a SH 500A/F. I have no doubt that one of your customers would go out of their way to let a pro run the national....If my candy ass was not already 5 motos in I would have taken them up on it.
BTW... they are beautiful and look like a lot of fun.
i was thinking of hitting motoland last sunday,
but hit a HS race in Illinois instead (D17)
the 500AF out there (#17) was my bike though,,
if it was offered you shoulda' taken it for a spin.. for sure!
(because its hard even for me to pry neil off of my bike !!! ,he really likes it)
Bruce372 and I were parked beside Tom and his son. He offered as well as a great big guy (Rob?) I'm not 100% on the names. There were at least 4-5 SH 500's. It was my first time at Motoland and I was chasing YZ Nick around in the fast class... First time, first lap out I chase him over the big bobs...lol...just about pooped when i looked down 3 story's! Next time I'm out I will definitely look to take a spin before I start wheezing.
