This doesn't sound like a re-alignment to GasGas or Husqvarna. Hmm. Jonny has been hit hard by injuries of late but still has plenty in the tank. Perhaps a change of scenery will be good.

But where does he go? Sherco seems full but maybe they add another rider. Would be nice to see Beta grab a true hard enduro threat. Or maybe another manufacturer gets in the mix. Or maybe it is re-alignment. Time will tell.

Follow up interview with Jonny coming today.

I’ve only tried vodka with Red Bull. Jonny Walker and Red Bull doesn’t sound like a good mix to me.

He’s going to suzuki. Everyone knows they’re starting an off-road team. Dumb question.

Not only is Jonny's destination unknown but who goes to Red Bull KTM? I can't see them going with just Mani for the extreme stuff. Josep is great but def more geared for the fast tracks and not so much the hard enduro.

Anyway Josep will ride EGP next year on KTM, along with another top rider. Don't expect to see Jonny on a Sherco, it's very unlikely. BTW, silly season in EGP is pretty wild at the moment. Lots of musical chairs...

So if not a KTM affiliate or Sherco where does Jonny land? He can win races so I can't imagine him being a privateer.

Yamaha needs a true 300 two stroke and jump into hard enduro. Lol.

I was surprised to hear this one. If I had a guess I’d say he’s going Beta. Beta is doing very well and should have the funds to get him.

Yamaha has a lot of work to do on their bikes if they want that to happen.

KTM isn’t sending their North American riders to Europe anymore. One of the reasons Webb left

Crazy. Both of these guys I thought would be lifers on the brands they were on.

I hope Beta Euro picks up Jonny and gets in the Hard Enduro game seriously. I think Beta U.S. is wasting resources on the Endurocross series, it's a shell of it's former self. IMO Beta needs to shift their focus to GNCC much bigger.

Getting any media attention for off-road is a serious challenge for marketing dollars. It's curious there isn't more support for what appears to be by far the largest market segment in dirt biking.

Consider myself an off-road guy but endurocross does nothing for me. Surprised it’s even a series

Media- what’s any bigger than a major network?
Did any other series other than Supercross get on anything as big as Fox Sports 1? Only Endurocross

Thanks, I forgot about the tape delayed broadcasts.

Chris just let me know that Cory Buttrick is back with Beta for GNCC XC1, sorry to say Cody Barnes is out.

Yeah I know, I talked to him about it. I still think he and Letti would still be a killer team.

No offense, but is Gerston leaving Beta really that big of news? He's not a front runner in EX or any other National Series that I'm aware of.

Being a Main Event guy in EX is damn impressive but after this many years can we really expect much more from him?

They just seem to have had a good relationship for a while. Gerston has been giving Beta good press for a good long while now. And 2 time AMA West Hare Scramble champ ain’t too bad.

But I know what you’re saying. I don’t think Beta is totally out of line by any stretch. Just hate seeing a good dude lose a ride.
