Seriously, what the hell is going on with him? This is one of the most bizarre happenings to a pre-season title contender I've ever seen.

Wondering the same thing... I know he had a really crazy crash in his heat at the Arlington race, but it doesn't seem like he has an injury from it. I honestly thought with his qualifying time, he was going to get back on track, and get a top 10. Maybe the Daytona super-natty will bring him better luck?

He´s got speed to make it happen. Was under second from winning heat race. Didnt see what happened to him at Main but he will get it together soon.

At least he made it into the main. What happened once he got there though? He was running towards the end for the whole thing. Really weird. He had so much promise last year. I hope he's able to get things squared away.

Looking at the lap times, the first five were over a minute, then he dropped into the 50's. Bizarre

Maybe pre-season pressure got him. Or he's simply mentally and physically not ready like Jason Anderson was his rookie year, but he (JA) turned it around in fine fashion. Hoping Martin does the same and stays healthy.

I think he went down in the second whoop section (one before the wall) on the very first lap and got up dead last. He was fast and had a good heat race, so it was disappointing to see him fall all the way back so early in the main event, especially given his start to this season.

surprised for sure Martin's rides, another title contender I thought was Kyle Cunningham this year...not even close...is he hurt??

I think we will see him shine soon, just got to get the new kid on the block blues out from under his tires. I see good things happing with that kid. Watching years ago on his 85 at Teddy Maiers track, I was impressed. He has the right stuff.
