Surely there is no arguing JS7 is the Fastest right now and probably ever has been...Is there a way to track his speed? Or do the track layouts changing not allow for it..In five or ten years will we be able to compare to see if he still holds the title(fastest)? Or will it all be hearsay?

I would have to say Dungey is the fastest right now. We will see what happens when JS gets his shit together.

RC was and still could be the fastest man on earth. Right now Dungey is. Maybe next SX season we will see if JS is the fastest indoors still. Until then its all Dungey.

Fastest ever LMFAO! RC and MC mite have something to say about that. Pulp mx did a fastest rider ever based on results and i think bubbles ranked like 7th. Stats don t lie, stewarts fast for sure. Kinda hard to rank him till he is done racing! or doing movies or flying motorcycles LOL! or whatever he s gonna do and i will agre with ONEAL bubbles never beat RC, i want him to come out to race it should be interesting IMO. Wonder how RJ ,wardy, JMB Hannah have to think about bubbles!

Fastest MX/SX'er ever? Travis P........his rally car hits 145+ and the corvette we already know is good for 125+.

Fastest man, if your talking MX/SX riders, bar none.

With your logic, Dungey will never be the fastest man because he never beat RC.

I've said many times responding to Big Lenny, 72 SX wins is a tall order. I don't see anyone (which included Ricky) coming close to taking that crown. MC is the "King" of SX.

RC was and quite possibly still could be the fastest man on the planet ever outdoors and MC was the fastest ever indoors.. Numbers don't lie but die hard fans do.

Big difference when RD never had a chance to beat RC.. JS spent years trying to beat him on a MX track and not 1 overall..

Now if RD wins more titles outdoors then RC or in sx than MC did I'll call him the fastest man ever. Until then he doesn't factor into this conversation.

According to RC and MC James is. When MC made his come back he said he was faster that he ever was before he retired. Did he beat James or RC? No. He did do well though.

MC can say that and still smile with his 72 Sx wins. James and crew (along with RC)cannot.

Did MC beat RC?? MC beat RC a bunch of times and unlike JS MC even beat RC for a sx title..

Why is it crap? Everyone beats the JS, Jlaw, RD, RC, my rider beats your guy, MX is better than GPdrum everyday. Nobody can argue the impass that is 72 SX wins and the "fastest men on the planet" have a very small chance at breaking that one.

Bubba was a few tenths of a second faster indoors (per lap) than RC.

Outdoors RC was a dozen second sor more, (per moto) faster, pretty regularly.

Starts and crashes blur the actual speeds but it can be said that Bubba was the fastest section rider in the history of the sport and RC was the fastest race finisher.

Jeremy was the best indoors (RC 2nd) and RC the best outdoors.

These are the facts.

Dungey is the best right now. Stewart was the best indoors last year and in '07 as well. He was the best in '08 outdoors. He can still move up the standings with solid championship results, but today this is where he is.

RC was the best in '07 outdoors and Grant Langston was 2nd best. That is the only variable in the history of MX.

RC knew ( and even stated a few times ) that his specialty WAS NOT SX! He knew it and so did his competitors.

RC also knew that Reed and Stewart had his number in the "Raw speed" indoors .....but outdoors......When you win almost every single fuggin' race by 30 to 45 seconds......or even lap 2nd place........You are the fastest guy on the planet....hands down!

Records speak for themselves ......and RC proved he was the fastest man out there for 10 years friggin' strait ! ( or close to it barring injury )

BTW.....how did Reeds and Stewarts "raw speed" help them win titles against RC?

I'll give you a clue.........it didn't!

RC = GOAT !
MC = King of SX !

Stewart =Probably the fastest / most inconsistent rider on the planet! But also probably one of the most gifted ( Talent wise ) that we have seen to date.

As far as landing titles.......Stewart's record so far on that whole thing is pretty friggim' dismal compared to what he was capable of.

As far as RD goes......Yes he is becoming a great champion....But I in no way compare him to RC just yet! He isn't winning every single moto outdoors by 30-45 seconds!

There is a difference on winning a lot of overalls , being towards the front and being consistent........ compared to TOTAL DOMINATION.....which is exactly what RC did!

Where in the record books does it say fastest man? Usually the results don t lie, Bubbles won t pass MC and RC s records IMO Did nt MC race in the era that had 14 sx races? And the Goat spanked bubbles on his retirement tour i believe. Bubbles is fast no doubt not even close to being the fastestman GOT TO BE IN IT TO WIN IT!Matbe KDUB will let him race one of his airplanes LOL!

and winning titles isn't being the fastest man on the planet...7 wins lap times, 5 seems to win titles incognito, and 4 was the beast, yes i said beast...

I did'nt say they were, all I said was they are not going to beat 72 SX wins.

Even though Dungey looks to have this MX title, why is he even included in this? He's a rookie and has 1 SX title and "maybe" 1 MX plate.
