Why does everyone on this site act like they're experts?

You see people saying stuff like "Dungey needs to be more aggressive to win, that's it." How in the fuck do you know that? Have you ever raced a professional supercross race?

Have any of the people that try and say what a rider "needs" to do in order to win, ever raced a professional supercross race? Quit acting like you know what you're talking about.

The fan vs. fan threads also get old. A few of them seem to be missing.

Ahhh...

I this case I kind of agree with him. So much of when people post about what a rider "needs" to do, is more about making the poster happy than what's important for the rider.

Atleast when I give my racing opinions, i've raced competitively in (12-13) and B class races. Never pro stuff, but still competitive classes. Most of you try giving these "expert" opinions when the biggest race you've done is the vet novice class at mammoth. (i'll give respect to the ex-pro's on here, and other riders who are still/were competitive at some point in time). Everyone's entitled to their opinions, but sometimes you just wonder wtf runs through some of your guys minds?

I gotta go with DJ on this one. You need to learn when to reply and when to shut the fuck up as u put in another post. It will take you a long way in life and you will notice that people like you alot better. And you may think your pretty competitive, but if you aint gettin free bikes and killin it at all the big am races. Pretty good chance your going to be one of them has beens. Just a few things that you might wanna keep in mind.....

You'll give respect to ex -pros and other riders that still/were competitive at some point ??

So what the dude who busts his ass all week to pay the bills and raise a family who can then only wobble around at the back of a 50 + race but is having the best time of his life you got no respect for ????????

WTF was running through your mind when you posted that crap ??

It don't take a rocket scientist to see Dungey needed to be more aggressive! It's bench racing, turd eater! STFU

For folks who(honestly)have been around this sport/industry for 30+ yrs, yeah, I think we can make a point & give opinions.
We've watched many a motocross race & seen a lot of racers come and go through there careers.

There is some moto knowledge here...

Experts? Like your expert opinion that Reed would not win a single race this season? That he's finished? You said this all to his face remember?

This is one example of several "EXPERT" opinions you yourself have made in recent time. The fact that you start a topic on this subject is laughable at best.

BTW, I feel that Dungey could be more aggressive. He had Reed's number last night, along with several opportunities to make a pass clean or dirty. If he isn't extremely pissed off at this point I'd be surprised. I say Dungey wins one before the season is over...

that's what I love about this site, the camaraderie and respect everyone shows for other members and riders. I'm sure it sends such a positive image of this small, niche sport... Oh, wait...
