Didn’t realize you could predict the past. James was fast, undeniable, but couldn’t focus on winning championships instead of races. Simple as that. The facts don’t lie.

The only person that was going to beat James in his heyday was James. Unfortunately it happened more than it should’ve.

Dungey always had superior corner speed. Congrats to him today. Very surprising for a 32 year old who’s been retired so long.

Does this mean the number 5 won’t be available next year since he got points?

Dude was giving Dungey props and this turns into a James vs Dungey thread?

The only way it'll be available is if Dungey let's the AMA know that he's not coming back in 2023 and releases the number back to them.

Otherwise the number 5 stays assigned to him and will not be on any other bike until at least 2024.

Now that is a moronic post. I understand you are new to Vital, but maybe you should research how many championships James won.

And perhaps you should research the difference between winning races and winning championships. Scoreboard.

How is RC’s legacy compared to James again? James crashed most of the time and left his fans hanging without any fanfare at all with his forced retirement. Chump move. Fast as all get out, just couldn’t keep it on two wheels. These are facts.

Why are you guys a bunch of babies? I took the title as a joke, since Dungey did well. Then Stewart gets brought into it? Grow up and enjoy life instead of being salty and living behind a keyboard.

I don’t agree. If you were a true Stewart fan you knew that was hit intentions. He had said multiple times over his career that once he was done he would be done and you’d never hear from him again. James wasn’t a ver social person and didn’t need to live in the limelight

They ‘raced’ it as a charity event. How many WSX banners have you seen anywhere? It was a joke. 😂😂
