You know, when one person who's working on the crew shoots a photo that he's not supposed to, and then sends it to a friend who uploads it to his Facebook and a moto site...it's generally not good for his current or future employment status.

Just trying to help a guy out.

like the freelance reporter who was fired by SI.com for cheering in the pressbox when Trevor Bayne won the Daytona 500.

thought this was a cool pic.

and your The Ramp thread is officially dead...wow apparently Red Bull and Dieter Mateschitz own facebook and http://www.vitalmx.com/ now. you think with this much clout they would step up and own their own team in SX and MX like they do with...Nascar, F1 (x2), Soccer (x3) vital sure bowed to them quick.

Does redbull really freak out about a message board?

Guy - do you really get angry emails from huge companies like that asking to take down leaked photos? Is chris on a timeout?

I think some of the people here are more freaked out than Red Bull possibly could be.

Angry emails? No.

Chris on a timeout? No.

If someone on a crew shoots a photo he isn't supposed to and forwards it to a friend, he's a douche and doesn't deserve to be employed.

wow, because he took a photo...this doesn't make much sense to me, unless he was under contract and it stated that no photographs are allowed to be taken...but I doubt that was the case with a worker who was assembling the ramp.

Really? You've never heard of a non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement? Redbull has them, plus you as an athlete are not allowed to give out your swag too.

true, but how confidential is a ramp that is roughly 100ft x 75ft that is being publically constructed. in california no less. (I think)

There's nothing in my employee manual that says I can't tell my boss to go f--k himself either, but if you don't have any common sense, you don't deserve a job.

I'll tell you, You know that Redbull commercial in the middle of no-where in Utah with Shaun White? Well believe it or not, if you're not in Beach Cities in CA, maybe go 40-50 miles inland, CA has a ton of open space, you can hide shit anywhere. As a contractor working for the factories or Sponsors you get hired to do a job and keep your mouth shut, so yeah some guy messed up and he will probably not get hired again, or the guy he was working for will not get hired again. Do your job and that's all you're hired to do.

Yep if they don't agree with your speculation or opinion they take it down. Unfortunately most bench racing is speculation and opinion.

The posts that are disrespectful to the riders (other than P's Fuck You Chad Reed thread) also get clipped.
