On Supercross and focus on outdoors now?
*****Total clickbait headline, I probably deserve a downvote just for that. lol*****
Hear me out. Deano is averaging an 11th place finish over the first 6 rounds, if he keeps at it the best, he's most likely looking at is a finishing in the top 10 overall.
I say he still races SX but put his work towards the outdoors from here out. Most likely he wouldn't drop back too much in the SX standings, but he could get a huge jump on the competition for outdoors. He is a former outdoor champion, and it wasn't a fluke. He has serious speed and a healthy Deano could do some serious damage outdoors and a podium threat every week and most likely end up in the top 5 at the end of the season.
Other than the jackass clickbait title what do you think about mentally shutting down on one series and focusing on the other? Injuries have killed too many of his seasons I'd like to see him make some noise before hanging the boots up.

The Shop
We have a group bet where you will finish every week
Nobody has won yet
Keep on keepin on
Kick rocks!
I said a healthy Deano with Ferrandis level focus was a top 5 outdoors guy. I think that's pretty badass myself.
Typical Vitards, unable to understand nuances and think outside the box. Not to mention I lol'ed at my own post, I'm just throwing shit at the wall. Does no one ever stream of consciousness talk? I thought that's what bench racing was. You guys go on back to talking about Vince Friese.
He’s leaving the West Coast HEALTHY.
He’s 11th in the points.
I’m jus’ sayin’…
DeanO = Never Say Die
Edited in an attempt to be less of an angry old man.
Factory ride worthy? Eh, may not hold on to it after contract.
But quit?! Nah, like at all.
A couple of spots extra outdoors is worth less to those paying him than the exposure of a full SX season
Where did I say quit?
I'll wait....................................
Brayton races SX only and he's a genius who knows how to extend his career. I suggest Deano concentrates on the discipline he is actually a former national champion in and I'm a freaking idiot........ SMDH
Pit Row
In that case and you were Husky and wanted the best possible chance for sucess in both disciplines you would put Mookie in SX and Deano outdoors, wouldn't you?
I a lot of pros shine at SX and have mediocre outdoor seasons in comparison to their potential if they were fresh (Webb comes to mind last year). Staying healthy backing it down in SX doesn’t seem all that bad and I bet it is what Dylan will end up doing.
Hey, DeanO? Keep Racin’.
Yeah, it's bush league, but my hope is always to have someone read a thread title and say, "WTF is this Jackwagon talking about?" and then open it up and see I'm making a fair point that is maybe out of the ordinary but just crazy enough to work. Like I said if 10 years ago I would suggest Brayton take the summer off and collect stacks overseas people would probably call me an idiot.
Post a reply to: Deano, why not throw in the towel
