It's underway!

We have a couple Americans down there this year Jonah Street and Quinn Cody.

Jonah is riding a Yamaha for the first time this year and has an outside shot at the win if things go his way, you can follow his blog over on Cycle World. He took 6th in the first racing stage today.

Quinn Cody is racing his first Dakar for a Dutch team in partnership with JCR Honda. He finished 15th in the first stage, but was bumped-up to 13th due to other's time penalties.
