Mr. Consistency is known for his consistent ability to make supercross podiums. He is NOT known for crashing. But over the past three years, he has shown remarkable consistency for his ability to get James to hit the ground

2009 - A1: Chad fell in the whoops, knocking James down and out of the race
2010 - PHX: Chad rammed James in a turn, sending both down and breaking his own hand
2011 - ATL: Chad cut James off, causing them both to go down

By the timeline, we can see this trend is a fairly new development in the career of the Aussie supercross superstar. Is this an intentional new tactic, the "if you can't beat 'em, wreck 'em" strategy? If so, how long before bones are broken and seasons ruined?

Yes, actually, the fundamentals on M-Theory explain all of this..."Universes Collide", etc. ...look into it.

It's not my job. My job is to speak for me. That's all. And I do that. Perhaps the confusion stems from some sort of identity disorder or something. I'd get it checked if I were you.

I don't see how so many people can see something on tape and then say the opposite of what really happened. James went on TV and lied about it, Dave Despain said he watched it 20 times and James didn't hit Chad. Watch it in slomotion, it was a good pass, but he hit Chad pretty good. On Chad's pass on James, he would have made the turn and not hit James, James could have let off and went under Chad. James hit Chad, roost was coming off his tire almost until the time they hit. Look at Guyb's photo's James's head is down, but his eyes are looking right at Chad! I've tried to stay out of this, but it's impossible. It's on tape, i lost all respect for Dave Despain. I always thought ole Dave D was pretty cool until I watched wind tunnel. James wants the AMA to do something about Chad? Wow! Enough said.

Nothing dirty about Reeds move, and I was the guy that was taking up for Stewart with the JT incident.

Stuff goes down fast out there, and these guys have to make a split second decisions and live by those decisions.

Well, you can ask that question in your own thread, my friend. Of course, it has been asked many times before.

I made a few statements, asked two questions and got labeled a fisherman, a shitty, stink-bait using one at that.

All you guys had to say was "no, Reed isn't intentionally crashing into James" but that would be too... civil?

What was it that set you guys off? The headline? The question?

Wow, seriously...it'a all there. It's a matter of jumping thru the "Bang". There is a point in time when you can jump thru the contact point of the collision.

Well, I agree with the stuff goes down fast out there and that's racing part. My point and I happen to agree with the guy who started the post, is that no matter how you see it or who's side you want to take, with the history of these two getting together and the fact of what may happen based on last years get together, we all stand to lose as it seems obvious these "Get togethers" have the real chance of ending either Chad or Bubba's season, maybe both.

And that would suck as I like the racing this year.

Block-passes and stuffs in turns almost never leave anyone hurt. Reed broke his hand last year because in a freak accident the handlebar end landed directly on his hand, which is what broke it. Outside of that, Stewart's wrist was broken already when they went down at Phoenix and he didn't get hurt any worse from the collision. As long as they stick to turns to rub and not cut over on each other in the air or things like that, nothing will be hurt but parts and pride.

Reed tried to pull off a block pass that didn't work. The majority of the time, that's not going to cause someone a season (or career ending) injury. James made a miscalculation when jumping on JT. That type of mishap is more likely to come out bad.

Neither is good, but both are nothing more than racing.

BTW: I also agree this is the best year of racing that I have ever seen.

James blew EVERYONE off at Anaheim 2 LAST YEAR. Yes. He hasn't blown me off this year. He's been really easy to work with and has given some very poignant and funny interviews.

As for being friends with Reed, not really. I've never had dinner with him or been invited to his house or anything like that. We have a good working relationship just like I have with most guys.

I loved Damon Bradshaw, RJ, etc. I have a feeling if most of you guys were around when those guys were, you'd have taken up badminton.

I am but one person...when you say ÿou guys"who are you talking about? Paranoia?. I answered your quetions , but i will break it down for you if you would like? Chad doesn't get James to the ground....James does it all by himself (ie:2009 A1).There is no trend. And like I said .... Chad won't cause the broken bones...because it is RACING and with it goes a certain amount of risk of injury. The question as I said before should be "how long until James takes the career of a fellow rider?"By the way I live in the desert so we don't fish, but happy to answer your questions though ( as long as they are not about fishing).

Come on smart guy, you're better than that. The second post of this thread is you belly aching about how stupid the post is and it should be deleted. If it was about your opinion that you don't think the thread is worthy of your time, then don't open it.

But no, your answer is to delete it so no one else can see it - explain again how it is about you and no one else?

So if I have this right if you alone think a thread is not worthy it has to be deleted? That's a pretty big ego you got going there...

I have been around since Marty Smith and I'm still not interested in badminton, but thanks for the info.
