Just read through the Pre-Entry list and......

1.) Alessi, Brown, Short - all listed on the 450

2.) Obviously Grant is coming back

3.) If they keep listing #54 Jason Lawrence will he eventually show up?

4.) Would like to see these guys do good just so Weege and Emig will say their last names:

96 Lowell Spangler 450 Honda
483 Chad Muterspaugh 450 Kawasaki
652 Dustin Pipes 450 Suzuki
722 Adam Enticknap 450 Honda
945 Michael Stryker 450 KTM

"Stryker takes Spangler high in the corner, they both go down and it's Pipes in the lead!!!"

I've been looking out for Dustin Pipes since I saw his name listed someplace last year. Gotta be one of the best Moto names ever.

Witness: Striker was the squadron leader. He brought us in real low. But he couldn't handle it.

Prosecutor: Buddy couldn't handle it? Was Buddy one of your crew?

Witness: Right. Buddy was the bombardier. But it was Striker who couldn't handle it, and he went to pieces.

Prosecutor: *Andy* went to pieces?

Witness: No. Andy was the navigator. He was all right. Buddy went to pieces. It was awful how he came unglued.

Prosecutor: *Howie* came unglued?

Witness: Oh, no. Howie was a rock, the best tailgunner in the outfit. Buddy came unglued.

Prosecutor: And he bailed out?

Witness: No. Andy hung tough. Buddy bailed out. How he survived, it was a miracle.

Prosecutor: Then Howie survived?

Witness: No, 'fraid not. We lost Howie the next day.

Dustin comes from a long line of MX promoters, his dad is , Aaron Pipes, him and his brother, Pat (RIP) own CMA, they are out of Central California, Madera, good people. Pat & my dad were partners when we use to run Golden States at Madera Lakes and Huron Cycle Park, oh and Reef Ridge where Bones from PC put out a sign board to Hannah saying "Let Broc by" oh funniest thing you ever saw, Hannah stopped and yelled at him, sorry to rant but Dustin and his dad, Aaron are good people.

I do the announcing at national Twinshock VMX races in the UK. We have 2 rider's one, called Cox and one called Butt. Thankfully they race in different classes.
Imagine the commentary if they both raced together :

" Cox is all over the back of ButtShocked , now in the infield turn Cox has moved inside Butt!Woohoo oh wait Cox has gone downBlink , thankfully the paramedic woman was soon on top of him and now he's up again!"Cheerful

Thanks for the background info Smile

It often seems that people with unique names are destined to become sportstars. I look forward to seeing how Dustin progresses.
