I apologize if there was already a thread on this but I searched and couldn't find it. If there is, mods feel free to take this down.

I have to say I legitimately had chills watching Chad Reed's heat race battle and eventual "victory" against Ryan Dungey. I was in Indy, so I didn't watch the broadcast so I don't know if it was on there, but the real chills came after the race as he was rolling around the stadium, as each section of stands he passed stood up for a standing ovation. I grew up being a massive fan of Chad Reed, watching him since I was a little guy, watching him go from Yamaha to Suzuki to his own effort and then back to Yamaha, and it was awesome to see the old Chad for a minute.

I don't know if it stood out to anyone else, but this was my highlight of the night for Indy. It was truly a moment I won't forget in all my years of going to and watching Supercross.

That was fun to watch, I was very surprised that after RD made his pass and was moving in to brake check Reedy he didn't see that Chad had already positioned himself for a counter and executed it immediately.....classic move and RD paid for it.

Just goes to show that Reedy still has it in him, it's just a matter of consistency, endurance, and starts. The talent and speed is still there though. I was impressed too.

I saw the crowd cheering as well. That was definitely the best part of the night. And also magnified Dungey's problems right now. Not beating Reed, no slight to him he was riding very well, and then not beating Brayton in the Semi race... All Dungey could do was shake his head after each race.

GO REED! HE NEEDS #45!

I agree that was probably the best of Indy. Was really cool to see those 2 go at it for few laps. The place roared as Reed cut down and got back around him. Very fun to watch!!

Yes it was cool and the fans loved it for sure.
But did you notice he only acknowledged it once with a quick thumbs up.
He's not all that happy with a fourth in a heat race.

I was there too and the whole place felt electric. I can't even remember who won that race because I was so busy paying attention to those two. It goes to show you what kind of fan base Reed has because everyone was cheering when he came out on top, and we all know Ryan has a huge fan base as well. It was very exciting to watch. Of course Reed wasn't happy with a 4th, he's never happy unless he wins, that's just his personality.

It was a good "win" for Chad after his practice crash. I was glad to see him get back up and keep fighting

I've only had 1 highlight the whole season...."heat 1 Daytona".
