With both SX and MX under his belt in his rookie season can he do it again with the likes of REEDY, BUBBA, VILLO, WEMIER and under dogs like KDUB and MILSAPES breathing down his neck.

He did it once, He can do it again. I have no doubt he's the fastest guy on the track.

Looking at those pictures I'm wondering what material those tan parts on the engine are made of? I build down-hole oil well tools and some of the internal parts we use, connectors and such are made of a high temp material that looks just like that. Anybody know?

It's been thrown around alot, but I think they are some type of High temp. Magnesium if that's possible.

It's possible but it won't be easy.
I'm just looking forward to some great racing.

He'll have some still competition, but yes, he can do it again. He has the talent, desire, determination and the team to do it with.

Looks like some kind of composite resin.

I really hope RV can stay healthy this year because if he does RD and everyone else will have to work really hard to get the championships. Dungey has the upper hand going into the season but I truly believe had Ryan not gotten hurt he'd have that number one plate in both series! Just please tell him to stay away from the purple gear! Practice in purple OK, race in the purple not OK. Just sayin...

Looks like one of those riders that's play riding to the win.Does what he needs to do within a race to win .And we have'nt seen him pressured into riding over his head.Next year will be the test..In other words,I believe so.

I think he has everyone covered. He raced stewert HARD at A1 last year and I believe he's faster now. However, he may have fits with stewie and poto if they can keep the rubber side down. Canard may be in there too.

Look at the close up of the clutch cable bracket. It has a texture like a powder base resin and the color doesn't look like normal mag.

As THE favorite, I can see it. As ONE OF the favoriteS for sure. Can he do it again? Sure. Will he? His two number 1 plates make it hard to say no, but knowing there are a lot of talented hungry guys out there trying to keep that from happening makes me say no. He will be in both title hunts and be consistant, but I don't think he will be the fastest guy which will make it more of a challenge for him to win. I think he will have his hands full with the guys who have shown their ridiculous speed - Stewart and Villopoto.

Somebody got hurt every year Ryan won a title.

Shit...somebody got hurt this weekend at my local practice day.

And Ryan won all his titles while hurt?

So what are you saying? Getting hurt means the other guy cheated? Or doesn't deserve it?

It's a fucking obstacle course at speed, make it through or lose.

lol scottie, I think we're going to have to agree to disagree. Besides, anodizing leaves a nice, shiny smooth finish. These parts look far from anodized. Too much texture. :p
