What are you going to buy now? Who even still makes a 2-stroke?

I already have a nice RM250. And, the next bike will be a Service Honda 500. I'm good. Now, all I need is a person to buy this thing.

I've had the RM for several months now. Gonna take some of the money from the CRF and tune the suspension on the RM for this old man.

Now, somebody buy this darn thing and get it out of my garage!

I knew someone still made them I just couldn't remember who. I don't pay to much attention to them anymore. I just remember a couple years back that select companies would still produce them, but no more R&D would go in to them. Like the 2009 KX250 would be the same bike as the 2007 with new graphics. Not sure how much is true about that, just what I read.

KTM still brings them here WITH R&D so they are ahead of the game 2 stroke wise ...

It's not listed on Kawasaki.com

If you go to www.kawasaki.com all they have for big bikes is the KX450F and the KX250F. The next bike is the KX100.

Which means in 5 years.......they'll have caught up to where the Jap's were when they quit makin' 'em.

nah they are ahead already with dual map ignitions etc... they were only lacking in the rear suspension as the motors were usually faster stock for stock...darn linkageless suspension....

I remember you saying something about your forks being harsh on your RM, which I had the same problem.

Factory Connection solved my problem with revalve.. They are VERY nice now. They didn't change the springs, but they did put in a softer set of pressure springs. I'm really happy with the work. Just FYI.

Another thing I didn't know, if you call them, they will ship you a nice box to send them your parts.. Shipped them out on a tuesday, and got them back the following monday.

Did they do your shock, too? Also, if you don't mind my asking, what exactly did they do, and how much did it cost?

You have come a long way since you first started posting here. You use to be a complete tool, you're almost tolerable any more. Good job.

Yeah, shock too. They changed the shock spring to a softer rate. They revalved it to an outdoor setting, and from what I understand, they modified the existing valving. I don't know exactly what they did to the internals, but It's night and day difference. It's more plush overall, especially in the forks. I told them, very specifically what my problems were and what my bike was doing with the final clicker setting I came up with before I gave up on the stock valving, and they fixed everything. I don't know specifically what they did to the valving, but it worked, and they made me feel like I spent the cash well, which ended up being the high side of $700.

I've always had a local guy do my suspension on my Honda's, but I wanted to try FC once, and I had heard they do good stuff to Showa's/Rm's. I plan on keeping this bike for some time, so the extra cash spent on a big name place/FC wasn't too much of an issue.

Thanks, crowe. Good info. I'm hesitant to send my forks to the group that did them before I got the bike. The guy who had the bike before me said he was a woods rider, he weighed about what I do, and the forks are HARSH. I'm looking for other avenues to get it resolved, and your info is useful. Thanks again.

Kaw doesn't import them to USA anymore. They still make them for Europe ( http://kawasaki.at )

Not sure what you mean by messing with you, but all I am saying is the KX250 is listed nowhere on www.kawasaki.com here in the US.
