They really do need to push for more back protection devices. I know there are several out there by six six one, etc. but they are not mainstream. Chest protector just doesn't cover enough area up front or around back. I have been looking at a few different ones just haven't bit on one yet. Any suggestions?

The fact that pro level racers can be allowed to race in basically a long sleeve shirt, helmet, and boots and that is all thats required is insane.

back protection is required in all roadracing some of the street stuff looks better than that .

We have to wear a protector with back protection built in.

Has full rib cage and midsection/vital organ protection too.

No wear, no race.

Speaking of we... any of these guys even ride? If you have ridden with one of those contraptions on, you will see they cause more problem then its worth. My underprotector has been reduced to being used only when snowboarding. They are useless in moto. As in I broke my ribs while wearing one so as for protection...

Motocross the common chest protector is excellent for Moto. For the lower back there really isnt anything that works with the current jersey pants combo. It it was a one piece it might work better.

I have taken a few highsides that I feel the back protector of my Thor Force has been very helpful. They just need to be on. Rayon is a poor substitute for protection.
