The man has 5 wins, the points lead, and had the fastest lap of the main and people still come on vital and say "I can't stand Webb, he isn't the fastest and he just gets good starts." The race is 20 minutes long; if he was just average as the "experts" keep saying Tomac, Baggett, Musquin, Roczen, or Alessi would have passed him. Cooper Webb is fast and is riding great and he seemed happy and proud to be standing on the podium. Good for him for accomplishing his Atlanta childhood dream.

Chad Reed had the 4th fastest lap, only the 3 ktms were faster. Not bad for a dinosaur on a dinosaur that has to be kicked......

Webb's racing and beating a bunch of moto's historical nice guys. That's his only problem. He's Reed 15 years ago. I don't really like him, but I like him winning, and it'll be even better when he gets beat. I can't wait to hate him even more after he has a couple titles. Good for the sport.

Eli is scared of rubbing elbows while racing. Or at least he is when he doesn’t have the supreme confidence we see some nights he goes into “beast mode”. Once he’s out of the gate, if he doesn’t have the jump he just settles in to not risk falling.

Oh no, a section so tricky you can't pass in it but equally tricky enough to make it easy for you to make a mistake and give up positions.

True but Reed had a pretty good brake check or whatever it was on Tomac in their heat race. That may have caused Tomac a podium in the Main since he had a low level gate pick.

Not every section should be designed with "can someone pass here" in mind.

Some of them should be, "let's make this part harder for the riders", of which this succeeded. Heaven for bid they make something soft that tests the riders like Plessinger, Marvin, etc.

I somewhat agree but this part of the track just made it harder for the riders following! I don't think any part of a track should make the guy behind lose time. Cause that just stops the racing, Marvin and Blake would get close then boom lose time cause they couldn't see for a little while.. In my opinion there would've been more passes, better race and maybe another different winner if the sand wasn't there!

That had to be the dumbest "sand section" ever. All it did was ensure that no passing would be possible in that area. Good God. I say have a "sand section" of at least 2 180 degree turns with at least one, lengthg straight section with rollers and jumps. That way, passes can be made and there's no single "cow trail" shit going on through it. Do it that way with a real "sand section" or just leave the shit off the track. Awful track design tonight in my opinion. Passing is way too difficult and making the start way too much of a factor. That's just how I see it.
