I believe the King lost only one in a season.

Ricky and Jeremy are tied w/ 14 in a season (they both only lost 1 race and strung 13 in a row)

Where would I look to confirm my guess that MC actually won 15/16 in one of his championship years?

Uh, here, where else? Duh. How dare you doubt us.

"...McGrath had produced the most amazing supercross record to date, winning 14 out of 15 250cc Main Events in 1996. ..."

You can ask me.

McGrath won 14 of 15 in 1996. He won the first 13 straight to begin the season, finished 2nd to Jeff Emig in St. Louis and then won the final race of the year in Denver.

Carmichael won 14 of 16 in 2001. He finished 3rd behind McGrath and Lusk at Anaheim 1, won San Diego, finished 2nd behind McGrath at Anaheim 2 and then won the next 13 straight.

Well, Thanks for that! A little gem right there!

You can imagine MC at the end when he was shaking his head saying "I don't know, little kid just whupped me..."

Remember that time we all assumed JS would win ALL the races last year. Ya... Millsaps and Windham will get one each at least.
