How do you guys think Alessi feels about Reed joining team? Alessi seemed to be the top dog but now you got Reed in the mix. Kind of a weird decision that Reed is going to Makita Suzuki but exciting nonetheless. Next year is going to be great with Reed on new team and Bubba on new team but I still wonder how Alessi is feeling about the whole thing.
You say the sweetest things Bobby. Is that all you are doing now? Just going from thread to thread insulting and cursing? That is all I have seen lately.

yeppers, thats why he killed everyone at daytona until his bike blew (you know, in all the mud, ruts, and braking bumps)

i dont think any of the 40 riders lined up at a national are afraid of ruts and braking bumps. then again, im not one of those 40....never will be.

What a dumbass thing to say. Just shut the fuck up. Reed stayed closer to JS and RC than anyone running the Nationals this year ever thought about. Including Alessi. Had Reed ran the Nationals last year he would have walked away with the title as easy as Stewart has this year. NO, I am not a Reed lover, but I do call bull shit when I see it. Credit is due to a rider where it is due.
I think it would've been a great battle between reed and alessi this year. Reed was never close to rc and bubba at all. I remember washougal 06, a race I was actually at when those two battled it out both motos. Reed was so far behind it wasn't even funny. They were already at the podium at the end of the 2nd moto before reed even finished. reed is not that great outdoors because he rides to cocky and thinks it is easy to go fast. He would have a hard time beating MA this yr

Ahhh always fun to hear non pros call pros pussies for not racing MX. How many pro MX races have you guys done? Since most on here would have to answer zero, would that make us like uber pussies?

Thats funny. I used to get called a pussy for racing MX and not SX!!! haha.

And then from the Enduro and Cross Country guys "What? Two 30 minute motos? That's it? Harden the fuck up!"

Even the new and improved Alessi couldn't match Reed's pace outdoors. Especially if Reed dedicated himself to outdoors.

wow, love is blind. But, I sure appreciate your loyalty.

History has shown... Reed is best of the rest aside from RC and JS, neither of which will be riding next summer. Reed has mentioned he may and I guess we'll find out then if Mike has left the realm of the mortals and can cover Reed. Reed always rode in that gap between the JS/RC level and everyone else. I like Mike, but I wouldn't be bettin' a $1 bill on him beating Reed in any given race, indoor or outdoor. Not saying it won't happen, but based on history, I think you're a foo to say it will regularly at this point. Only time will tell. I just have my fingers crossed that Reed actually races the outdoors next summer so we can experience the series with him in the mix.

as much as im NOT a reed fan he has mikey covered esp in SX but in MX as well. you guys forget that he was on the 2nd rung for along time and this year was even faster than in the past. heck last summer he hadn't raced MX in forever and still came out and spanked everyone except jbs and rc, and he was always complaining on how the yamaha's were so now he's on a zuk he's probably going to be even faster. now im not talking JBS fast but still a step above anyone else besides JBS....
When his results still lack - is going to start complaining about the Zuk too? Sometimes the riders just find things to blame because they can't...

Sometimes the riders just find things to blame because they can't find ways to win.
KTM boy, please do explain what you mean by Reed's results ever lacking? Who has he ever come short of beating on a regular basis apart from RC/JS?

Really, and at that race, how far back was 4th place from Reed? I remember many motos where he gapped the rest of the field by near the same time that James & RC gapped him.

Reed would gap the field by much more than he was gapped by RC and Stewart.

As would Alessi this year. I think it would be a very close race.

Scotty did you go out there Sunday? Alessi came up on me so fast on Saturday that I forgot what I was doing and bam, I was laying down on the face of that off camber table before the ski jump. Laughing
