David Pingree's turn.

Looks like Ivan Tedesco is going to be riding for Valli Motorsports Yamaha next year. It’s been a long, strange road for Ivan and it’s good to finally see him land somewhere. He will be partnering with Kyle Regal over there and rounding out what is looking like a pretty solid team

I think the bitterness factor alone will propel Ivan to a podium position at A1. Hes gotta be pretty bitter. I see a more aggressive Ivan for 2010, riding with a chip on his shoulder.

3 time MXdN winner, still winning 450 outdoor nationals, and ends up a privateer the following year. Wow.

They've got an inhouse motor guy (formerly w/Pro Circuit) and in house suspension guy formerly worked with Factory Connection!! Just moved the San Jose race shop down to Corona on Wednesday and all is coming together. Regal and what I believe will be a reguvenated Ivan after getting the boot from Honda should really be a force to be reckoned with.

Anyone know the sponsors? I hope to GOD they dont make Ivan run shitty gear, but I saw pictures with Regal in MSR racing gear now. And apparently Arai pulled their sponsorship so they gotta change helmets too

he has been a good professional motocrosser for some time........
now he 's got a good chace to prove that he is still a motocross racer.......
if he still cares, he can put his experience to work and get good results.......
if he does'nt then honda was right..........
up to him to prove it.......

Todd Brown is the suspension guy formerly of Factory Connection Honda. Good guy. Each guy sign's his own gear deal is what I'm hearing.

Ivan was a FOX guy, so I don't see him in need of a clothing deal. I don't see any reason why FOX would have dropped him.

He shouldn't be bitter, but he does have something to prove. I hope he proves it.

5 yrs on a factory bike and treating it like vacation while you are getting paid big bucks will make you a privateer.

Milsaps will be the next!!!

BITTER???? How do you think Suzuki and Honda felt scratching this guys checks while he was doing nothing on the track week in and week out??? IT earned that privateer ride IMO. If he does better this yr then it just proves that he dicked the dog stole money the last 5 yrs from the Suzuki and Honda.

Ivan was one hell of a lite's rider...one of my all time favorites.
However, when he made the jump to the big boy class,it seems like he pulled himself into a rut and did not podium very much at all.
Hopefully this team switch will get him back on track ,and back up on the podium where he should be with all his talent.
Good luck this season IT9!

Honda hasn't been serious about winning sx races or championships for a while. Not sure what they are thinking even blowing that kind of money on a factory race team. With the amount of money they spend running a team and getting to the races you would think they would hire a guy with a chance at getting it done for them. IMO they let the only guy with a shot at winning, albeit a long shot, go.

I'm pretty sure IT was not goofing off for the last five years at RC's place.
