So, will it be Pourcel or Canard?

The new champ will have the #6 available to take if they chose.

Here's to hoping it's Canard!!

I would bet Canard is going to pick #41 for a permanent number as long as they don't change the whole system during the off season.

What about dare I say the number 15? Will they do for him what they did for RC?

I would like to see Trey win the Championship.

There will be 5 riders that get to pick career #'s after this year.

Right now points look like this.

856 Dungey
539 Canard (earns a Champions # or a career #)
501 Short
446 Windham
443 Pourcel (could earn a Champions # and already has career #377)
415 Chisholm (earns a career #)
415 Brayton (earns a career #)
402 Rattray (earns a career #)
398 Wey
387 Wilson (earns a career #)

Trey Canard would probably choose #15, because imo if it wasn't for Tim Ferry helping Canard out, he would still be struggling.

Kyle Chisholm - #32
Justin Brayton - #23
Tyla Rattray - Who knows?
Dean Wilson - Amateur # was 128 so maybe #28?

All I know is that "too" many riders are earning career #s.

Isn't #10 Tommy Hahn's career # ? I was thinking it was anyways? usually if you get a top ten # , it's your to keep for as long as you keep scoring points.

Tommy Hahn finished 11th place last year, so no career # for Hahn.
And it looks like he will just miss out again this year from earning a career #.

If Canard does win (which I hope does) I would love to see him get 41, only because of how it ties into his dad.

I still can only think of David Bailey when I see #6.

Trey and Pourcel share a lot of his qualities, so either one would be cool.

I hope he sticks with his 3 digit.
3 digit numbers are way cooler.

However,if he wins any championships in the big bike class,I hope he runs the #1. Wink

proof of how fucked the numbering system is.

lets see:

Villopoto - 2 (250 c-ships)

Brown - 3 (125 c-ship)

Dungey - 5 (250 c-ships, 450 c-ships after taking 5)

Stewart - 7 (125 c-ships with 259 then took 7 and won 250/450 c-ships)

Langston - 8 (250 c-ships prior to taking 8, 450 c-ship after taking 8)

Tedesco - 9 (250 c-ships)

just saying.... wtf is wrong with the numbering system when you have guys in the non-premium class taking all the top 10 numbers because of their results PRIOR to getting into the premium class.

gay.

bring back the old school numbering, run what you earn.

is it or is it just me.. but does anyone else feel or felt Vilipotto should of not been aloud to run the #2. cause in my eyes, MC will always be the king. so that gives him the right to hold the lowest number possible by a rider not holding the title. and that # is #2. i like poto, dont get me wrong, but the # 2 will always be MC's #. well, actually 15 is his number, but he received #2 after they went to the new system. and he is god, and god should have the lowest number possible..

anyone else feel me on this or am i just a mumbling bumbling idiot..
