These are two of the best tracks in Texas. Should be some good racing.....any idea on the bigger names pro's that plan on racing??

Not really. Lamay, Bisceglia, Cunningham, Oklahoma Mulisha are usually good bets. There's usually a pretty good preview of fresh faces there, too. Wilson, Anderson, Bloss, Bogle, JMart, Zach, Regal raced it before they made the show.

I will never understand privateers that drive 10 thousand miles to chase a few bucks on the national level. But will pass up 2 wknds in Texas and could make well over 5k.

I remember local Pro's hitting races every weekend to make cash. I think that went away as the "Train all year for 4 races" amateurs turned pro. Kinda sad if you ask me. That is why I let my son race every weekend we can.

Trey's always had an overflowing pro gate. They had 1100 entries for the weekend last year.

Woohoo!!! Pumped up!

Took vacation from work and I will be there racing and watching the pros all weekend!

This weekend will be our biggest race of the year, the 26th Annual Texas Pro-Am Challenge! Sept. 29-Oct. 1 . This will be a great opportunity to come and race a national outdoor motocross event that some of the fastest professional motocross racers from across the country have raced! Now in its 26th year, this event has paid out over $625,000 to pro riders!! With a guaranteed $25,000 pro purse, you can bet there will be some great racing as they battle it out for the cash this weekend!! . In addition to the pros racing, we will have plenty of amateur day racing, night racing, and then fireworks on Saturday night! There will be bounce houses and inflatable slides for the kids, great concessions, and more! This will definitely be a fun weekend for all ages!! . . Weather is supposed to be perfect also, lows in the upper 50's, highs in the low 80's and no rain in sight!

I will post running orders and results throughout the weekend in this thread

I had to miss it last year so I'm super pumped to be out there this year!

The only way to get to ride the whole track with the pro section is to sign up for the Future Pro class. You know you could school all those kids who think their SOOOO fast.

Track has some big changes since I was here in the spring! Can't wait to rip it!

So far so good in practice today!

Cunningham, Taft, Challen Tennant, Tanner Stack, Curren Thurman, Lance Kobusch, Lane Shaw, Zack Williams all came past me like I was standing still. They all looked comfortable out there! Haha

Can't wait to see who else shows up tomorrow
