Now that the 2013 season has come to an end with the headlines being rv's charmicheal like dominance and the rise of tomac.what will we see in 2014? In the big bike class will rv continue to get stronger and possibly win a 4th straight supercross title and make a run at going 24-0 outdoors like the goat and bubba did? Will we see barcia, dungey or tomac put in the work and find the pace needed to knock the rv train off the tracks? How about the extremely exciting 250 class next year, what will be the story there? This year brought in rookies that are already running top five at times and thats without bell or savatgy out there.mcelrath and bisceglia are starting to climb up the results sheet and will have the offseason to improve.BB showed flashes of his champion form at the end and hopefully comes back with a healthier wrist.there are so many great riders and another awesome season ahead, but what will be the headlines next year? It will be fun to look back and see how are predictions look next year.

I'm thinking there will be a lot of green up front in 2014 . If bagget and wilson stay at pc on 250's I could see them each winning an sx title one east and one west . And fighting for an outdoor title . And poto is the one to beat as of now on the 450.
So should be a good year for kawasaki

Green presence in 450SX isn't going to change much; however...

Orange sure is. Red Bull KTM, BTO, Rockstar KTM, Munn(?)...I'm guessing about 5-6 per main.

Red Bull: 2
BTO: 2
Rockstar: 1

Yellow will have as many as 5-6 gates in SX Mains, too...somehow...which seems really hard to believe...they've got no less than 5 known names likely to be on their "Good Stuff" & one helluva a Gun Slinging "Real Privateer"...& I wasn't even counting Alessi in this 'cause I have no idea what MCR's pans are; so, let me correct that...lets say Mikey stays on Zooks? That makes 6-7? WTF?

Yosh:2
RCH:3
Peick:1
MCR:1

Team Honda, Geico Honda, TLD Honda(?): 4-5

JGR Yamaha: 2

Monster Kawasaki: 2

Who-else is on Yamaha? Rock-River is all I know of (as in they've got '14s and the boss says they're goin' racing).

Who-else is on Kawi's? Dunno. Nyk? Metty?

Anyways, it's easy to see how 20 gates are gonna get filled and, in all likely-hood...who's going to in those gates. It's actually even "stacked" more than it was this year.

There's talk going on as if Yosh has signed another rider...hell...I dunno if its on a 450 or not: said rider can shred on a 250!

RCH? They just seem AWFULLY busy working on '14 and Kenny & Carey have been doing A LOT of working & traveling... you know? They ARE up to Something. RC, he's always around...in...FL a lot, too(?) I dunno. Just seems like they are in "Building" mode and they have a Huge Infra-Structure.
Btw, spent some time w/ Josh Hill, yesterday: he's soooooo ready to go Racing. The Aussie SX series will be VERY Interesting.

All I get from all of this is:

Suzuki is busier than we think & we may even see a Suzuki backed 250.

I'm hopeful. I'd love to see Zook hire IT9 has a Development Rider in addition to all of this & I'd be waaaaay Stoked to see CHAD on RCH. Still...just wishin'...

We'll be getting some PRs soon...

Funny, but, Suzuki is THE bike to be on if you look at Milsaps, Peick and Alessi and their results this year...

wow, you seem to have all the insight

in 2013 the Zook you could argue might of been the bike to be on, that of course doesnt mean that 2014 it is still the Zook, the manufacturer and factories do make changes you know...

So should be a good year for kawasaki
I'm confused as to why you think Baggett will be a contender in SX. He isn't nearly as good at SX as he is MX, and he got worked pretty hard this year in MX.

He had been improving as of late . If he gets the wrist better of course .
But with eli and roczen moving up .
I think bb4 will get a sx250 title . Probly east . And DW 15 will win the other just my opinion.

I would assume Baggett, but I'm not sure if he's going back to PC. There were "rumors" that he may not go back to PC next year.

Mitch Payton said he will be back next year as will wilson for the 250 class. He also said that some riders might not have a outdoor contract if there results are shit. this was all on PulpMx BTW

I'd like to see Ivan on the 250

I think 2014 (450 wise) is going to be interesting for a few reasons:

1. Reed will be out to prove he is faster in 2014 than he was in 2013 (apparently the bike is the reason for his 2013 woes)
2. RV will want to prove again he IS the fastest rider out there, he is on top of his game
3. Dungey will want to knock RV off the top seat
4. Barcia and Canard will want to build on their strong (but not fantastic) 2013 season
5. Hahn and Tomac will want to establish themselves in the 450 class
6. Brayton and ? will want to show off their snazzy new Yamahas with wins and a championship
7. J Stewart will be out there (hopefully inury frree) to show he hasnt lost it
8. Short will want to again prove he is as fast on a factory KTM as he is on a privateer Honda (we all forget he had his best finish in 2013 on a privateer Honda - is the bike THAT bad Reed?)
9. Last but not least ... Milsaps will again want to prove that his awesome 2013 SX season wasnt a fluke, and do the KTM justice (which shouldnt be a problem)

Shapes up as an interesting season for sure, more so than this year I think. Should be fun!

Good point!

10. Roczen will, like Hahn and Tomac, want to establish himself in the 450 class :-)

Whom is this "charmicheal" you speak of?

I did a google search, and nothing came up.

i dont see baggett with a sx title noo..musquin should get it done on which ever coast hes on. and martin is and obvious powerhouse going into next year.

little hill didnt have any flashes of speed outdoors or in but indoors he was consistent. that could pay off with so many veterans leaving the class. davalos still wont get a title or win.
