Officially announced today the team is what I, and almost everyone else, predicted.
MX1 Chad Reed
MX2 Matt Moss
MX3 Brett Metcalfe
Reedy is focussed on getting team Australia on the podium this year. That's a pretty solid team right there and I really hope Matt Moss can rise to the occasion and show his true potential. The kid is damn fast when he's healthy and keeps the rubber side down.
Go get 'em boys!
edited 16/8. Reedy is indeed racing MX1 and Metty's racing MX3. I pulled the info off an Aussie website who I won't name.

I'm glad this topic is being debated, because it means that Australia finally has a bit of depth. Mossy is and always has been faster than Tye on a lites bike, and he just won the aussie title. He's the best most deserving man for the job.

I hope they finish on the podium, but obviously go USA!
Tye has even said himself (I think) that he's too big for the 250f.
Neither are as fast as Matt Moss either.
Tye before Moss.
I have a feeling we're going to see the real M Moss at the des nations, with a point to prove,
Pit Row
Wtf have India been playing at??!! Too much money in the IPL?
Glad to see Moss in the team too, hopefully he brings his A game because when he does hes hauling ass.
I think we really need some luck on our side for year something, to say the least, we've been lacking for a while!
And Tye will be the first person to put his hand up and say he's too big for a 250F (and a 350F for that matter) and that Matt deserves his spot.
Five or six strong teams this year, the three usual suspects with USA, Belgium and France, plus Australia, GB and Germany all lookng potential podium teams as well.
