I spoke with Jonathan yesterday and the 2 stroke invitational is going to be very exciting!

So it got me thinking......who would we..... the fans.... like to see in this race?

I'm from MD and wrenched for MD riders Tom Welch, Billy Schlag and Ted Orr so of course I would like to see them ride in it..........and Michael Moore.

It would be nice to see some kind of a Kevin Crine memorial lap too.

I wonder where Shawn Player is these days.....he got me started wrenching at the Nat & Trans USA races in 1981 !

What do I want to see? 250 2-strokes with top riders aboard racing the 250 4-strokes.

Hey, you asked.

On a note that probably wouldn't "upset" the mfg's, I'm guessing at some time there will need to be some kind of decision as to what exactly the 2 stroke races are. Are they a chance to see old iron with their equally "refined" riders, or is it going to be an actual race featuring what's left of a superior engine design killed by politics?

I would like to see anyone that is willing to go out there and ride it like they stole it.
Same goes for any other race also.

Someone told me awhile ago Moore is totally done with it.

Welch on a number 69, that would be cool.

I always thought there was something in the water by Budds........there was a lot of Pro talent that grew up withing 10 miles of the track.

I was wondering if TP might show up to battle with RC again!

Here is a couple fast MD riders.

I'm finally fed up with my 4 stroke enough that I'm going to buy a YZ250 in the morning. I would love to get into one of the invitational races, but there is no way I could afford the trip right now

from the videos online and that interest shown at Red Bud looks like the oem's will have a hard time "killing" off the 2 smokes.

Ryan Patterson (NJ native A rider) has told me he's racing at Budds on a built Service Kawasaki 500AF with support from Mt. Holly. If that doesn't work, he said he'll race his KTM 125. Just throwing that out there.....

Woz- you might know. Isn't Randall Everett going to try and qualify for the national on his 2-stroke?

Turpin had his shoulder replaced from his last comeback. That's a no ride ever again replacement.

RC and JS. Since Stew isn't racing, he probably could do it.

If RC and Bubba both showed up, that race would get far more attention than the 450 class.

Bubba should have made a surprise visit to Red Bud.

Actually, they should both ride 125's, just to give the others a chance. Not much of a chance, but a chance nonetheless.

Kevin Crine lap is a great idea.

Some pros would be nice. Welch deserves a spot, having owned the Vet classes for so many years.

Travis freaking Pastrana. Local.
Randall...Kevin Walker...Toth or any of the fast local kids that rule at Budds.

On my true wish list: RC, Albertyn, Langston, and Bayle!
