Are you guys ready to feel old? This game came out 10 years ago. Let that sink in for a second. This game was so awesome. I wish they could just take this game, make a few tweaks, and update the graphics.

Here is a random YouTube video of it. Memories. I still break it out on the PS2 from time to time.

Damn, ten years ago. I actually remember getting this game in the mail after I pre-ordered it. So much excitement, and I was not disappointed. I remember playing MCM2 a bunch on my PC, but I was just a kid so I didn't do online or anything. Then I played the shit outta ATV 1 & 2, but obviously that was like a silver medal of what I really wanted. Then this came and it was close to perfection (at the time). Only game I played more probably was MVA after this. Obviously no way I can check for sure but I would bet my life savings I've spent more time playing MVA Unleashed than any other game. Played it a couple nights ago. 2-stroke SX series.

My dad and I used to go freeride and go to the canyon part of the map and just chase each other thru it for a solid hour. Just talkin, father-son time, and playing this game.

What do you guys think is the most underrated MX game of all time?

-MX 2002
-MX Superfly
-MTX
-Moto Racer 4

I actually remember playing Freestyle Metal X for quite a while when I rented it. Obviously not real-to-life at all, but it had bitchin music and was just fun.

Under rated? Hmm that's a tough one. One game I don't see a lot of people mention as one of the best is Supercross Circuit, and that game was amazing. I think it gets overlooked because it came out in 99 on the original PlayStation. They had real tracks and you had to buy tires, rebuild your engine, etc. Very in depth for 99. I've always said if they'd combine Supercross Circuit and MX Unleashed with updated graphics then we'd have the perfect MX game.

I don't even think most of them need updating. I would be fine with being able to purchase them on PSN.

Haha I didn't include SX Circuit because most around here view it as the gold standard of 1st gen console MX games, and I agree. I bought it not too long ago, still pretty damn fun.

I actually just bought a PS2 Just so i could play ATV 1 & 2 and all the PS1 games. I have MX Unleashed and MVA Unleashed for Xbox and since servers went down for Reflex I have played MVA quite a bit. Both MX and MVA are both still great if you ask me.

I liked MX2002 with RC better than anything else I've tried. If you still have a PS2 look for this in the bargain bins. The controls are far more intuitive than any of the MX V ATV games that came on the PS3.

I dunno about "underrated" but I thought this game was pretty freaking awesome when it came out. I remember telling by brother that I would be happy if this was the last game I ever owned.

I smoked a lot of week back then. It was high school. I was stupid.

It was the first game where you could actually whip a bike. I thought that was so cool. Nevermind the fact that it was impossible to clear any of the jumps perfectly.

I had Supercross Circuit also. Amazing that after all this time, still not one MX game has gotten it as good as that game had it when it came to all the ancillary features.
