1987 RM250

Bought this nasty heap of junk for $150 a few years ago:


Lucked up and found a seller on eBay getting rid of hundreds of NOS parts for the 87 RM250, including a brand new full seat assembly. Got some new plastic and other tidbits.





Loved the looks of these mid/late 80's RMs. Blue engines did it for me.

Nice job on that 87... My first brand new bike! Took a loan out to establish credit! 150.00$.....wow...In my area that bike would be listed for 1500.00 with the obligatory " new top end" somewhere in the ad......

I had an 86 model back in the day. Not nearly as good as an 87, but I'm telling you that 86 was an absolute missle on the top end. Power was comparable to a newer 125 everywhere else tho lol , but man that top end was awesome.
