I never thought of bringing a 1st aid kit. I bring tools, 6 plus gal of fuel, food and water and 2 sharpies to sign tities.

Another great episode. This got me thinking and I just bought one of these first aid kits to put in my gear bag to take to the track. Has some survival stuff I might not use at the track but also has a tourniquet, splint, cold compress, and the rest of the first aid things I’d need. Throw in some Advil and some Benadryl and it covers most of the needs Ping talked about.

Awesome as always Ping! I like the visor sticker with medical info idea. Another way to go on that is I always wear a RoadID bracelet which has my name, DOB, emergency contact and HAM info. They're marketed for road bicycle riders, but are useful for anytime you may end up needing assistance. Also, I think medics generally look for info bracelets. Just a thought.
