BTW the hrp sadly not available in EU, i just used the hrp as an example bc there were a lot of result about the hrp, but no one know the zero7 idx1, its also suspended, check this https://www.dirtrider.com/tests/gear/141_1101_jett_america_zero_idx1_mx… What do you think about this? And this leatt mission have just ce level 1 shoulder protector, even the best 6.5...
No fear is the "same" as modern protectors, lying on your shoulders, thats why it did not protect them. HRP shoulder protector floating over the shoulder, so it can work like a spring, just look this huge gap: Btw anyone know about leatt mission protector jacket? https://www.24mx.com/product/leatt-mission-body-protector-graphene_pid-… Its just 90 usd and says CE level 2. Scam? Could I wear...
Yeah i see now. You have no bruise under the shoulder protector. The hrp suspended protector worked perfectly. My guess: shoulder protector get hit, it is flexible, so it wants to expand, but the suspended part prevents this and in the meantime receives tension and transfers it to the chest protector. So, as long as the shoulder protector doesn't get...
Never broke a collar bone or hurt my shoulders. Probably lucky like wreckitrandy said. My HRP Flak Jak I got for my 16th birthday in 86. And the upgrade I made in 2003. You get used to wearing shoulder pads and you feel vulnerable when you don't. When a guy used my upper arm for a berm once and ripped the upper arm guard off, I took the opposite side off so I didn't look like a goof and I decided I liked the freedom of mobility. So that was the first thing i did when i got the MSR's.

This is just my guess, don't expect too much from me, I have no experience. Maybe someone with experience will write and convince you guys.
Are you totally sure? I read a lot of reviews here, and those who used the most modern protective stuffs wrote that there is no effective protection for the shoulders. However, some people have posted that the suspended shoulder pads took a huge hit when they fell on their shoulders. I was just reading a post today where a person...
Hi! This looks really impressive https://www.dirtrider.com/tests/gear/141_1101_jett_america_zero_idx1_mx… I am sure its provide a lot of protection if i land on my shoulder due the high suspension, prob this is the highest, so it will absorb huge amount of energy. But what if for example hit a tree horizontally? I will ride in winter, mud and ice, narrow path, trees around. Planning...
