I'm not religious, should I be offended or outraged every time Webb is on the podium and "gives it up to the good lord jesus christ?" Should I demand to be "left out of it?" No. I'm not religious, but it's fine if he is. I'm not going go to church with the guy but I have no issue with him thanking god. If a rider said "happy pride month" on the podium, people would have a meltdown and claim it's being shoved down their throats.

Many of you guys need to watch the movie 42 about Jackie Robinson. Take into consideration what he had to persevere through just because he was black, something he obviously couldn't hide. Imagine if a top factory rider were to be gay. You don't think that's something they would feel they need to hide, given the majority of the motocross community? It's not about "shoving things down your throats," it's about showing support and sending a message that anybody is welcome in the community.

I’m not trying to say this in a mean way, but it’s because nobody in the “straight community” cares, because you’re not a marginalized group. It's because false equivalency is yet another way for people to "be the victim" without actually being the victim. And these days... everyone, for some dumbass reason, needs to be the victim. It's so boring and unproductive.

The equivalency arguments drive you crazy because you can't find a valid counter argument. Look several posts up at what I posted comparing anti-Semitism attacks to lgbtq+ attacks, and then see if you are able to provide an argument as to which group really deserves a whole month. Also, don't try to argue that there are others months already dedicated to veterans or other valid causes unless you can explain why the mainstream mass media doesn't push them with the same effort as they push pride month.

It's so fucking silly. People around these parts love the phrase, “ Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.", and this response to a fuuuucking social media post that wasn't directed at them in the first place is the "weakest man" response you could possibly do.

Why is sexual orientation more important than first responders, soldiers, injured athletes, ect.? Perhaps I'm not reading into it as much as everyone else but I don't feel like they're saying that at all. First responders, soldiers, injured athletes, kids with cancer, etc. have all had countless few social media posts, graphics / gear weekends, in broadcast segments, mini-docs... but how many have we seen specifically for gay people? A yearly social media post? I think this is just another case of people making mountains out of molehills over things they could easily just ignore while bizarrely trying to paint...
