That was back in 04 when he Tax Warrants out by the State of Washington. He has been sued multiple times as Tuning By Travis which is probably why he had to change the business name and LLC names so it's harder to track and find.

I guess nobody remembers in the early 2000's 05? Ish. I don't know the whole details. Just recall he had a tbt shop in Monroe wa. Suddenly closed up shop and skipped town outta state. People got hosed on getting thier stuff back. Hopefully that worked out never heard anything more. I heard it was supposedly he owed the state taxes. And for a long while there i never saw or heard of anyone with tbt stuff. Until like 10 ish years ago I saw something mentioned tbt in so cal.

https://tbtracing.com/ judging by his writing and presentation skills here selling his $3,500 "technical training class" (and knowing what we know now), i would never hitch my wagon to this character as a "business leader". when it comes to poor writing, there's scatter brained mad scientist and there's hyperactive hustler. this reads like the latter. "Here is a sample of the kinds of things we teach at the 6 day ------------------" thats it. thats the sample. cool.

You only get those if you pay extra and if its actually available...ask the guys who have tried to operate their franchises without access to that branded stuff.

That's awesome but I would say there are at least 7 franchise owners that are "passionate" about what they do and supporting their businesses and families that have been screwed over by the company or they wouldn't have bought in. Corey is a great guy, there are some really good people who have worked or currently work for the brand...

Here's a question to keep this topic upfront and keep others from falling in, whether owning or signing up for the "class": Who's the real problem? Colorado, Colorado (again), Oklahoma, Oregon, Northeast, NorCal, Arizona all kicked out or, as it has been put, "chose to leave" because they didn't want to follow the "system", weren't committed enough or weren't competent...

I have a buddys 2007 CRF450R that recently started running like crap. I performed a leak down test and it is at about 5% so not too bad. He pulled the plug after it had sat for a few days and it looks still wet. Oil? Stuck my scope in the cylinder, doesn't really look like carbon, more oily. (pic...

I have done plenty of searching on this site and others and have not found an exact answer. I have a customer with a 1997 YZ125 that has a bad rear shock, disassembled it and the body is toast along with the seal head, somebody has been riding with no oil in the shock. What years can be used as...

Suspension712 Added a reply to 2013 CRF450R runs great, cold start lags

Just wanted to update. I believe I have it figured out just not sure which step got it solved. I neglected to think that after all the testing I was doing and not riding the bike that I was fouling the plug. Trying different starting techniques, testing TPS, hot starting, cold starting...I wasn't really running the bike and fouled the...

What are you using to determine what is the best reading? Right now I have it set at about .59 v at closed throttle haven't got a WOT reading yet. I have no specific reason for why I adjusted it there, just seemed like that is where it is happiest running. Edit: It is adjusted to .54 Volts at closed...

I've been doing some reading and looking into this injector issue, seems it went on for a while and irritated many. When I split the motor there was no sign or smell of fuel in the oil nor is there any now. I have changed the oil once since rebuild (hour run time) and didn't notice anything and the oil...

Thanks for the insight. I will give it a shot and see what happens. Dealer here wants $72 for the kit. Dealer didn't believe they made a filter kit, I have looked it up before and had to convince him they do because I couldn't remember the number. I will get one coming from RMATV for $60.

I have not replaced the fuel filter just cleaned and inspected the fuel pump. It probably wouldn’t hurt to try replacing it, Honda sure is proud of them $$.Fuel filter wasn’t overly contaminated and runs good otherwise so assumption was it wasn’t an issue. I have read other forums that have said filter causes issues just thought it would be...

That was my thought...I know a lot of people like to say their bike will start first kick every time and that may be true with older carbed bikes but it seems to me that fuel injection needs a couple good rotations to get the voltage up when cold. I don’t think I am going to worry about it as...

I have a 2013 CRF450R that I bought with a locked up motor. Tore it completely down and rebuilt it and it runs and rides great. I have been a Yamaha tech for 6 years and haven't played much with Hondas but have seen they have always had cold start issues or people always seem to have issues starting them...
