Does anyone know if you need the seal head tool to do fork seals on the 7548? Or can the red seal head stay on the tube and the new seals be driven in as typical on other forks?

Storey867 Started a new thread KTM Aluminum water pump impeller

Anyone have any ideas how to get a water pump impeller off that has pretty extreme corrosion? It’s on a 2020 KTM 350SXF and has been upgraded to the Nihilo impeller. Tried heating the aluminum and wiggling off with pliers but I will cause damage to the impeller before it’s coming off.

I have a 2023 ktm 250sx-f, live at 4,000+ ft of elevation. I was curious what gearing everyone is running. I currently use 14/52 gearing but the bike struggles on a tighter local track to pull 3rd and I find myself using the clutch to recover when hitting tight corners in 2nd. Has anyone tried 13/50 gearing? I was wondering...

Tore the engine back apart. The cometic gasket kit i had seemed to not cover a lot of area around the reeds. Not sure if it was a manufacturing issue, but I had no material on the top section of the case where the reeds sit. I set the cases together with just dowels to ensure I was getting proper...

Fairly certain it’s an air leak. I made a leak down setup. Had a pretty good leak below the around the reeds. At this point I think I may just split the cases one more time, get a fresh gasket kit and seal the space around the reeds very well. Prior to doing that I might put my mikuni together...

The part numbers are different. The wiring is the same. I am using a flywheel and stator out of an ‘03. The guy I bought it off assured me that it would work and he has had many CR’s. I can’t speak to this confidently, but I did throw in my 04 stator and flywheel. Same result. I replaced it...
