Storey867 Started a new thread KTM Aluminum water pump impeller
7/3/2024 7:20am Anyone have any ideas how to get a water pump impeller off that has pretty extreme corrosion? It’s on a 2020 KTM 350SXF and has been upgraded to the Nihilo impeller. Tried heating the aluminum and wiggling off with pliers but I will cause damage to the impeller before it’s coming off.

I currently use 14/52 gearing but the bike struggles on a tighter local track to pull 3rd and I find myself using the clutch to recover when hitting tight corners in 2nd. 5/1/2024 5:54pm Tore the engine back apart. The cometic gasket kit i had seemed to not cover a lot of area around the reeds. Not sure if it was a manufacturing issue, but I had no material on the top section of the case where the reeds sit. I set the cases together with just dowels to ensure I was getting proper...

4/19/2024 10:16pm Fairly certain it’s an air leak. I made a leak down setup. Had a pretty good leak below the around the reeds. At this point I think I may just split the cases one more time, get a fresh gasket kit and seal the space around the reeds very well. Prior to doing that I might put my mikuni together...

4/18/2024 9:45pm The part numbers are different. The wiring is the same. I am using a flywheel and stator out of an ‘03. The guy I bought it off assured me that it would work and he has had many CR’s. I can’t speak to this confidently, but I did throw in my 04 stator and flywheel. Same result. I replaced it...
