7/8/2019 6:21pm Found in storage unit. Completely stock bike down to the handlebars and grips. I did put on an o-ring chain when I got it because the stock one was rusted... also put on some used tires that weren’t dry rotted. Rode it twice. Runs great. In South Carolina/ North Carolina area. Willing to meet. 864-680-1932.

6/2/2019 6:47am A little history on this thing... bought it a few years back from a kid who couldn’t get it to run when I bought it. I could tell it was not a high hour bike, just beginner crashed/ neglected. The kid said it had an Eric Gorr 144 kit in it but I was a bit skeptical. Tore it down...

5/11/2019 11:37pm Shock back from having the oil changed as it had an unknown amount of hours on it. Linkage bearings in great shape. Just repacked with grease and reinstalled after some more polishing.

5/11/2019 11:30pm Engine back in after some polishing on the cases, covers, and getting the reed cage in. Carb and swingarm on as well with new slider and guide.

5/11/2019 11:23pm Front wheel bearings were a little rough so new ones of those going in... spacers cleaned as well as axle and nut. Slowly but surely. Looking to get the engine back into the frame next.

5/11/2019 11:17pm New fork guards mounted up and got the front brake system cleaned, bled, and fresh pads put on. Also got the bracket and cable holders back on as well as the CDI box.

5/11/2019 11:08pm Topend off just to check and make sure everything I did the first time around is looking good. Still looks brand new so just throwing in a new ring and gaskets. Head gasket is a 58mm straight from EG himself.

5/11/2019 11:01pm Airbox disassembled, cleaned, and resealed liberally with permatex since I’ve read these don’t seal well from the factory. Also took the time to polish up the subframe a little with the scotch brite pads.

5/11/2019 10:54pm Linkage dogbone greased/ polished and ready to go back on. Exhaust is almost new so it didn’t need much work but I went ahead and shined up both the expansion chamber and silencer. Fmf fatty and shorty silencer.

5/11/2019 10:50pm A lot of progress made today since it just poured down rain all day. Swingarm polished up and cleaned. Removed chain guide and guard and will be replacing those. Went ahead with a new set of bearings/ seals here as well. Removed the chain adjuster bolts to clean and anti-seize before they go back in.

Nice start to your project. We have an '07 that we bought in similar condition (minus the 144 cylinder). These are great handling, durable fast bikes. Perfect for someone looking to do a 125 2-stroke project.

5/10/2019 5:15pm Some Tusk 1- 1/8 bar mounts for some Renthal Twinwall 994 bend bars. Rubber cones were in good shape so I’m re using these.

5/10/2019 4:58pm Here are some more pics of cleaning/ polishing process. Stock triple clamps cleaned, polished with Dremel and some scotch brite attachments. Went with new bearings since the old were a little “rustic” looking.
