9/2/2023 7:30am I have no doubt the 95 forks can be made to work very well. I chose to use a more modern fork, that isn’t an open chamber design, and have been very happy. With proper set up and tuning, either way will work great. Absolutely one of my favorite bikes to ride, vintage or modern.

8/25/2023 6:30am Yes, I have rg3 clamps on mine now. Just requires a bearing change. The rg3 clamp does limit steering a little, but could trim steering stop if you needed sharper steering (I haven’t felt the need).

4/5/2023 6:45am The 95 Cr250r was fairly easy to convert (simple bearing change), this is mine with a 2006 crf450 front end. Some of the earlier cr’s (I’m converting my 92 cr500 as well) are a little harder. Could not find a direct drop in upper bearing, but was able to find a bearing and spacer combo that worked.

1/15/2023 10:45am Not sure of offset, but 1 1/8” bar clamps. Came off 2002 crf450. Been considering using it on my cr500 project, with an extra set of 2007 450 forks I have.

1/14/2023 8:00am I have a complete triple clamp set up, with blue mounts, asking $499.00. I will tell you just using the top bar mount portion works better if you have longer studs made (they are kinda short). I have another bike I’m using just a bar mount on.

11/3/2022 7:32pm I had ordered an fx wheel for a customer’s 2020 Yz450f, wrong axle diameter. Ended up just lacing a 18” wheel for him.

11/3/2022 6:54pm The fx actually uses the older yz hub, not the same as the newer version (I made this mistake). The fx uses the 2 stroke or 08 & older 4 stroke hub.

2/11/2022 6:38am Sprocket specialists can make an offset sprocket to make this work. The sprocket needs to be offset inward. I have a bike with this set up.

Hey im new to this page and im looking forward to hearing from you guys. I recently picked up this roached out 1988 yz 250 for $600. Im really wanting to get into vintage moto. My dad has a bunch of old CRs but ive always been a blu cru dude. Im trying to get this old girl back to racing shape soon. Let me know what you think. 7/3/2020 8:41am I have a 95, with 06 crf450r front end. The bike has 2013 & up crf talon wheels with special adapters made by dubya, & a custom offset sprocket made by sprocket specialists.
