Fitting 18 crf250 wheels on 07 250r

Does anyone know what it would take? I was under the impression that it was just a sprocket spacer, but I think that is for a 14 to the older model

Yeah.. not reverse compatible. You can put the older rear wheel on the newer bike by spacing the sprocket outboard, but you cannot put the newer wheel on the older bike. There was another thread on here recently where a guy was talking about machining 3.5mm off the mounting surface on the hub to move the sprocket back inboard. Sounds pretty sketchy to me.

Make sure you know what you are doing. There have literally been guys thrown over the bars and injured on Hondas by using the wrong wheels and tossing the chain.

Thank you, that makes sense.

Anyone wanna buy a set of talon/excel wheels for an 18crf? Lol

Sprocket specialists can make an offset sprocket to make this work. The sprocket needs to be offset inward. I have a bike with this set up.
