I weigh around 175lbs (without gear) and I can tell you the rear is without a doubt soft and Im only a back of the pack B rider so it aint getting pushed that hard either. The front feels fantastic though so I dont think you'd need to spend any money on that.

I’d order a stiffer spring as well and try both. I find these bikes work better for me sprung on the stiff end of the range.

ride it for about 10 hours and let everything break in properly first before you do anything. I think you might be close on the spring depending on riding style.... also on the new KTMs try 100-98mm of sag as it works better with the linkage ratio that KTM is running.

174 LBS on the stock spring is cutting it close. Remember , its your body weight PLUS the weight of your gear. I had to change mine from the stock spring because I weighted 190 fully geared up.

According to the owners manual the stock shock spring is good for a weight range of 165 to 187 lbs. You should be fine. Of course with the air fork you can play with the setting. If you want to look at the owners manual just google search KTM Manuals and input your model. It is the same online as you will get in hard copy with your bike. Good luck with your new ride.

Stock rear spring rate shouldn't be too far off for you; set the sag at 104/105mm and ride. After some break-in time and getting comfortable on the new scoot, re-check the sag and then measure the free sag. 1/30/2021 2:34pm Hi guys new poster here. Im just wondering if anyone has any info on what weight range the stock 21 sxf 350 suspension is suited for. I weigh about 79kgs (174 pounds). Ive got the bike on order but just wondering if im gonna have to spend some additional money getting the suspension dialed or if it will be suited...
