Great to know Thank you. I should never get near 40⁰ so thats perfect. 500 Main with the 32.5 Pilot for the next test it is. Appreciate all the replies on such an old forum. Glad I didnt give up on the Mikuni.

Thanks AJ for the reply. Sure I will bump up the mainjet to 490 as a start and see. I am riding in the UAE so Sea Level and coldest temp is 75 and summer over 100 so expecting to drop down again when the temps start creeping up but will drop a 490 in as a base and work...

Hey guys, just wanted to say a huge thanks to all of you. Got a wealth of info here. Picked up a 2018 KTM 250 SX (Which i googled and led me here), bike had only 3 hrs on. Thanks, Appreciate it! I always love the older PC bikes but this pic of Hamblins Kx250 is not bad. The monster logo has been worn out a bit so if you looking for similar or even the same graphics as mine I can send you the details...
I just used scotch brite pads and a whole lot of effort. What worked pretty well was the pads with some degreaser on them and then just rubbing in straight lines to get it all looking even. It's far from perfect but definitely a step in the right direction.
