I'm 6'2" and use handlebar risers, gives me a more comfortable feeling and doesn't seem to sacrifice handling

Look at kris keefers podcast on handlebars. He goes into way more detail than probably anyone here could ever type out. He likes low rise but tall bar risers are OK. He explains why. More front end feel or something with low rise

I got chills when I came across these posts. I rode SoCal MX in the 80's at The Dunes and Saddleback and remember those guys. I was shocked when they died.
