So if anyone might relatively know what could be the problem here that would help me out greatly... I have an 05 crf250 and it had valve issues like every other stock 250r out there so I brought it to a mechanic (proven to be good, been bringing my bikes to him for years) and had him replace the intake...

Got a set of brand new pro circuit Ti-4 cans (Titanium) factory sealed (well i opened up one so i could take pics) no mid pipes or tips, there is one tiny (smaller then a pencil eraser) ding on the backside top of one of them but its in a place where once the pipe is mounted it will be...

The problem with the valves in Honda's is because they use titanium valves, titanium being a softer metal tends to bend and mushroom out but I really haven't heard much about them having that many issues in the 450's, my thought is that the 250's have more issues because they rev out much quicker.

That is the baddest 100 i've ever seen.. i have an xr100 that i use as a pit bike and i been thinking of doin a little work to it as a project... Now i have some good info to base mine from.. Good luck on the sale, great deal considering the amount of $ and man hours involved in...

Gaernes are so heavy, if you can get your hands on a set of 661 hurricanes you'll fall in love. I've had a pair of tech 10's, sg10's, fox f3's... and others. Alpinestars are great but fall apart, Gaernes feel like lead boots, fox feel like lead boots, but the 661 boots are light and have held up for goin...

wow ok bud.. i understand who re-did the bike, it doesn't just magically look like that.. it's cleaned with something. you even said he "just re-did it"... so your basically telling me that if i have chad watts put titanium bolts and "re-do" my bike/motor it will magically look like that... its ok if you don't know how he got...

lol i understand that... Whistling but it looks like it was never riden.. all i was asking was how he got it to look all brand new and shiny again... AFTER it was riden

I haven't. I don't know much about carbs, just some basics... can I clean it without taking the carb off the bike?

i also adjusted the air fuel screw slightly, but it runs like crap on the bottom end and if I lower the idle it stalls.

update... went to the local bike shop and picked up some main jets.. got a 165, 168, 170 and 172... ended up with the 168 but still bogs pretty bad when the choke is off and is kinda hard to start when its hot. I took an updated video, its real responsive when the choke is on and idles good...

Man that guy keeps his stuff clean!!! the "Dunlop" on the tires are even aligned in the pic lol. I'd like to know how he keeps his motor looking that good though.

Ok, i'm gonna try that gonna go pick up a few main jets hopefully it'll solve my issue... otherwise maybe replacing the cdi box will be step 2 if this doesn't work. thanks for the help so far!
