11/11/2025 10:48am Carolina XC does GP style racing in SC. Maybe one location is based at a backyard moto track but the rest are woods with some fields and they have racing all the way till end of January. If your looking for a harescramble series look up Low Country Harescrambles.

8/14/2025 4:44am I have a 23' here with 120+ hours, A off-road racer. Change oil every 3 hours with T6 Rotella. Bike has been amazing with no issues at all. I also have a 25' 450 with 40+ hours on it that is prestine. I run both bikes on the "Linear" or "Linear Torque" settings that come with the yamaha tuner app...

What started at an absolute barn find pos. Did the typical frame out and all new pretty much everything. New sleeved cylinder, rebuilt oem crank, added decompression to the head, all new bearings and seals of course. Tried out the lectron, hated it. Went back to oem carb. It’s crazy people raced these in stock form with suck small forks, brakes, and footpegs. Front end is off of a 2006 crf450r. It’s a street legal title and I have a plate for it. Nothing like sitting at a stop light and getting bad looks from Karen’s while it pings. Reekers58...

If you are in the carb doing the float seat it would also be a great time to replace the jet bblock gasket. JD Jetting has the best option that I know of: https://jdjetting.com/product/jdmk05-mikuni-tmx-jet-block-kit/

Replace Rekluse with OEM clutch, do normal maintenance/check’s (top end, bearing, etc), clean out carb or just buy new brass (I ran JD jetting on TC250 with good results, if a little lean), loop carb fuel overflow like Jarvis (look up Jarvis carb mods), and NEVER sell it. Still one of the best frame and motor combos around, and better than the TBI’s for my money (I owned carbed 2017 TC250, 2021 300 XC TPI, and 2023 TX300 TBI).
