I’ve largely stayed outta these threads but there is a saying that goes it’s not talking shit if you back it up. Mud or not, word was he was doing Chase Sexton’s and Weston Peicks times and clearly he’s in shape. The crazy thing is, and me and my best mate talk about this often, we wondered what it would be like to watch a McGrath or any one of the top American riders at our local tracks... We were watching it every weekend! He was one of the boys back then too, shit van, no flash, turning up to club days on off weekends and just letting everyone go for half a lap. Anderson would do the same, I've got footage of him on his WMW CR80, Castrol KTM 620, they were good times to live around here.

8/24/2018 11:19pm First time I saw him race was 99 on those RMs at the King Of The Mountain Classic at Mount Kembla. Dont think he won that day but there was something about him. I couldn't take my eyes of this young 16 or 17 year old kid who was racing the big boys in the 250 class as a rookie...

8/24/2018 4:26am For me its not really about the over all finishes as im not sure he's where he needs to be just yet fitness wise but if he gets up front off the start and can hang around in the top 5 to 10 for 20 mins then yeah that would be a good sign.

8/24/2018 4:13am I don't think at this point anything is gonna change regardless of this weekends results. Only thing I can hope for now is a competitive season next year and a chance maybe then to get the nod next year. haha he'd be what 38?? lol

Yep I was all in for that to happen cause it seemed like we couldn't send our absolute best team anyway, so yeah give Reedy the des nations send off.. But then he wasn't picked and he stuck the bottom lip out.. Like I said, I hope he is hauling and I hope he is fit and then gets the call up! I'm laughing at our exchanges! Just a couple of Aussies sticking up for people we feel a sense of loyalty towards neither takin a backward step haha C'ARN AUSSIES
