Ok I got a 2006 CRF250 with a blown engine, changed the crankshaft, piston, cylinder, exhaust valves, spark plug, valve clearances are ok, the carb is like new inside and it has the stock jetting settings according to my location The bike is not starting up with the kickstart, it is possible to push start it but it won't kick...

One of the reasons i bought this bike was because i bought a new bike and i had to wait for it for 6 months ! To arrive in iceland, was going crazy and needed a bike to ride and didn’t find any RM for sale so i bought a 2001 KX250 and was suprised how nice it rode...

Thanks ! It’s not that hard if you work your way up to 1200 grid or so and finish it with a scotch brite pad

I found that the best way was to use an air sander with paper from 120-1200 and finish off with a scotchbrite by hand

It took i think about 3-4 hours in total, almost ready ! The plan is to have a really good bike looking like new with small mods like rmz front end and aftermarket engine covers for example.
