You guys know it's possible to generally like a rider but also to call them out when they are obviously lying to you..... again.... I still remember when camp Deegan denied the injury existed even after photos of the surgical scar were everywhere

AP has is riding well but I still think for the MXoN's Tomac is the guy. I've been told that Deegan is in with Chase. You guys will have a strong team and have a legit chance of winning this thing. Hunter and Jett will be good but their 3rd rider will need to pull finger. The Nederlands are on par with the USA team. The Frenchies will also be good..for a podium. It's gonna take a little luck to win this thing

Tomac isn’t some bum trying to validate himself by being on the team. If he says he is ready and wants to go, end of story. Send him.

Ironman just reinforced my opinion that Tomac with another month of prep would be a better pick than AP. I can understand wanting to send the rider who “deserves” it most but if team USA wants to send their best team they include Tomac in my opinion.
